How come there is no After War or After Colony technology in the Correct Century yet somehow schematics for Fuunski is somehow still around? Were the people that worked on Turn A just UC purists? Because for a then big anniversary series meant to finish the franchise at the time those are two massive holes that can't be ignored. A d no, I don't mean Black History clips how footage, I mean actual in-setting technology.

I watched Turn A back in 2009 and was asking this stuff even back then. Turn A was meant to be the grand Gundam finale and combine everything, but you don't see that, you see mostly UC stuff and other Tomino references and not enough stuff from non-UC titles.

How much sense would it make to find a mint condition 100% usable anything? The Zakus were already handwaved as being replicas, not original units. The Kapools are also missing their laser and beam weapon from the ZZ era Capule design so maybe they're replica models too.

I can see why tomino would do that. Tomino's never cared much about what other people do in gundam. It's not his work.

I'm also going to reiterate in this thread that I see the black history as at least partly metaphorical and not literally "every single gundam series happened before now and there is a legible timeline to find if we just search hard enough".

Exactly, the point is supposed to be that escalating cycles of violence only end one way, which in this is embodied by the Turn A. This is also why Loran abandons the Turn A at the end.
