I get the feeling this has been proposed and shot down because it'd diminish the pilots importance. I don't think this sort of writing really works when you can just your on board super smart robot to tell you what you should do next. Gundam is about the foibles of communicating with people, having "beep boop I am computor maybe you should talk about your feelings?" interject seems wrong.
