Bigger question is why the Stargazer is overshadowed in its own series by the Strike Noire. The Stargazer never got any kits beyond the old HG. I like edgy Gundams as much as the next guy but the Stargazer's a coold fucking design in its own right too.

It's almost as if commercializing the cool robots is a major part of the brand.

Also SEED (original more than Destiny) has some of the best messages in the franchise, but nobody is ready for that conversation yet.

What messages does it have besides 'racism is le bad' and 'war is le bad', unless you mean it does those messages better than most Gundams. I feel like Stargazer managed to do it better than the original SEED did though, that story really does make the war seem even more pointless than it already is.

For some reason it stood out to me and is one of my top 10, maybe top 5 Gundam mechs. Didn't even care for the OVA that much
