I got inspired by the anon who posted in the last thread showing off their pin collection. I always wanted to get a little display case to put some of mine in. I have a few boxes of pony merch to go through where I might dig up some more. But the funny story is that I was in a store I used to visit a lot as a kid, used to mainly deal in militaria. Went there and bought some stuff due to his retirement sale and inquired about if he's selling off display cases. He was, so I was able to pick one up. Cleaned it up a bit, it's got some dings, but it was dirt cheap and works well to display them in.

Before I start combing through the whole OP spreadsheet, does anyone know an active plush artist who has experience making a show-accurate large-scale Limestone? It's kind of my pony grail but when I image search I can only find 1 or 2 good ones that have ever been made

Here's a selection of rarer pulls I got from the Kayou MLP cards. I really like collecting these and hope they release English versions of the sets eventually. I don't like Glimmer as a character but that card of her's is beautiful /)

An assortment of 'UR' Kayou cards. I particularly like the top right Fluttershy and the Celestia is very pretty (naturally). I'd like to get the full set of those 'yummy' ones because they are super cute but I only managed to pull 3 of them (Spike not pictured)

Well I've had my big pony plush for four months now and I have stopped cuddling with her for fear of permanently damaging her if I continue (although the damage might already be permanent, fml).
Every time I clean a plush, I ALWAYS end up ruining the fabric. I don't know if it's my water, the temperature, the soap I'm using, the brushes, maybe I scrub too hard, maybe I take too long, maybe I don't dry them right, I don't know. I've tried a few things but I can never do it right. And the idea of ruining my only big plushie has made me put it off for a while. I wash my sheets often and I never sleep with her unless I shower, no exceptions, but those can only do the trick for so long. So I stopped sleeping with plushies.
I bought some Folex over a month ago but still haven't touched it. I don't know how much to use and I'm not sure of the effects on fabric. Not only that, I have no idea how to clean faux fur. I'm scared, bros. Every 4DE and Symbiote plushie I've tried to clean IS visibly clean, no discoloration, and they don't smell, but cuddling with them now feels like cuddling with a dish rag. And well, I don't want to cuddle with a dish rag!
How do you do it properly?

I might be retarded but I have two furshit plushes from BossMonsta (one of their protobean plushes and a “Boss Sergal” plush and I’ve never cleaned them in probably 2+ years now. They’ve definitely been snuggled and sit humbly in bed most of the time. I actually don’t know what fabric they’re made of, picrel shows them off and I don’t see any visible filth or discolouration on them. I’ve also taken them traveling too, I wish you luck though plushfag.

The last time I washed my lifesize I just unstuffed it and threw it in a washing machine. I think I just used a small amount of natural detergent and quite a bit of vinegar, cold water. Stuck her in the dryer on low temp for a few minutes afterwards. The faux fur looked and felt like new, minky was definitely better but I don't think minky ever really gets back to it's original feel. Of course you'd have to destuff it to do this so maybe not an option. I find this works better than the carpet cleaning method.

First sent her a message in December 2023 and was given a commission slot for July 2024, which she said was "the beginning of sewing", and "sewing a big plushie takes about 4-8 months depending on the complexity and amount of clothes."

what are people's thoughts on clothes on plushies? not the concept as a whole but how much clothing do you like? do you go for a full outfit or only accessories and what do you think a good plush size is for a full outfit?
im contemplating commissioning a ponification plush but i don't know how to translate the outfit especially since the character's default one is pretty complex. i have some experience with making things for cosplay so i would probably try and make something myself when the plushie was finished

I can finally unveil this pattern I've been working on since last year. It was made with a car window in mind and has a system of removable magnetic suction cups that I came up with, with hidden magnets on her hooves that also let her attach to stuff like a fridge. I also wanted her to have some customization options so I made a few interchangeable shirts for her. This one is up for grabs for anyone interested.
