MLP has this thing where most seasons but 9 are decent and have at least something interesting and charming to offer you that stuck with people.
Season 6 has Buckball, Vapor Trail, Starlight, Trixie and Discord teaming up. Chrysalis's last dance, Saffron Masala, Gauntlet of Fire and Ember's first appearance, one of the best Maud episodes, and a little more world building with Las Pegasus.
Season 7 has Pear Butter, Dashie's parents, A Royal Problem and Daybreaker, Once Upon a Zeppelin with Cadence finally doing something that isn't trying to sell Flurry Heart toys, Punk Rarity, Starlight episodes with Trixie or Sunburst, a Zecora episode
Season 8 has Cozy Glow, Autumn Blaze, Silverstream, Smolder, Goth Fluttershy, The Mean 6, and Stellar Flare
