trixie has the same hair as fluttershy. It would appear that fluttershy uses conditioner and a flat iron on her hair to make it look fuller and give it a wavy look while trixie doesn't seem to use anything but probably combs it. You can literally tell that her hair is dry as shit and probably has a lot of dandruff. Trixie's hair also seems to be more straight than fluttershy's but that could be just because fluttershy takes care of her hair way more than trixie does and you can also see some breakage as well around her tail. I also put a depiction of trixie at the bottom if she used a as much makeup as Rarity does for comparison.

What kind of music would Trixie be into? I've always liked linkrel and wanted more but I have no idea what genre it might be.

I made some time to start a Trixie themed build in ER after doing one for DS2 and DS3 earlier this year, this is how it's looking so far. Strictly keeping it at level 100 until I somehow get stonewalled by the later DLC fights and anything post-fire giant (I hate how easy it is to tank and steam roll everything otherwise). Keeping it light roll literally goes a long way in giving much needed distance to mitigate her ass melee attacks and into decent ranged DPS.
Lore-wise it would make sense to use a lot more consumables since she amasses her own magical item hoard in the show, but stuff like glintstone scraps are too reliable and spammable on their own.

It's the only fromsoft game I got burned out on and still haven't finished, I think it was because of the bosses, exploration was the most fun I had in a souls game, apart from the dungeons but you can ignore those

in previous games I could learn the bosses just by fighting and after some time I'd beat them 100% of the time

I used a very similar build starting out but branched into forbidden magic like black flame to represent her alicorn amulet powers. Was using Elden Ring Defuckenated, gives minor FP regen, fixes a lot of QoL issues like item farming, lets you summon anywhere, etc. Highly recommend.

The game is a glorified boss rush after your first playthrough because there's nothing stopping you from running past every obstacle to the next grace. It makes every subsequent playthrough feel pointless since you're not forced to engage with the level design using different builds (unlike DS2, but that game has issues with enemies being too simple). The only difference builds make is how fast you can kill the bosses, which doesn't feel that stimulating when you have to hold back on using your entire arsenal if you don't want to cheese them. I particularly don't like how attunement was shafted in favor of collectable memory slots which make using spells a low commitment. There's nothing stopping this Trixie build from equipping op spells with mimic tear and halving the difficulty of every fight.

tldr Level design sucks, different builds have no meaning, having to make your own difficulty is gay game design

Man idk bout you, I actually like fighting every enemy and collecting loot and wandering around. I don't install Elden Ring because I wanna beat it fast, I install it because I want to take Trixie on a meandering journey to godhood.

Personally I don't have strong feelings about either spell system, my issue is that the UI and equipment system is still ultimately DS1. Melee users have 6 weapon slots across two buttons to worry about, meanwhile mages have potentially 12 spell slots on one fucking button. Same problem with consumables but at least you have the pouch- letting you assign spells to the d-pad or that pause menu to quickcast would've solved a lot of problems imo.

See today I would agree with you that show-wise, they don't really have much going on, but that wasn't always the case. This pic and the pic from >>42443794 are from the back of Trixies Trixiebooru entries. From the beginning of the show. The level of impact these two had on each other back then was felt and expressed perfectly. Trixie wasn't just a villain of the week, she was a bona fide antagonist to Twilight. Nowadays art like this has Twilight paired with Sunset or Starlight; pale imitations of what we had 6 episodes in.

They counteract one another's weaknesses. Twilight at her worst is neurotic and obsessively overthinks things. Trixie at her worst is careless and impulsive.
They might also respect one another's skills. Trixie by Twilight's abilities with real magic, and Twilight by Trixie's stage magic. Trixie might try to learn from Twilight like she does with Starlight.
They're also both well-rounded characters who are more than just their personality quirks, so that makes it a lot easier for them to at least chat with each other and get to know each other.
One of the main reasons why Trixie disliked Twilight so much was because she saw Twilight as Miss Perfect, so if there was an arc where they ended up becoming closer, the moral could be about something like "just because you think someone has more talent/privilege than you doesn't mean you can't have a friendship with them".

I haven't watched the later seasons yet because I segwayed into reading fanfics but I thought that Trixie is actually quite adept at using magic, she's just using it in a flashy way

This is a perfect example of the later season lobotomies that took place. I know the deterioration of the quality in the writers room hit all the characters, but with Trixie it was pretty bad. No one remembers Trixie using her magic to show up half of the mane 6. More than half if you count her mogging off Twilight. I know the amulet corrupted her, but I honestly don't think it changed too much. She still chose to put it on because she had a bone to pick.

No one remembers THIS Trixie because the Trixie that showed up in season 6 took up all the fucking real estate. She's fine, but "fine" is not what I had in mind when I first saw her in season 1. Shes a slapstick character now, she could have been so much more, and I feel like she was meant to be initially, but something made them course correct.
