What do you mean? You’re not actually taking Twilight’s side over RD’s, are you? The episode is genuinely rancid in terms of a moral in that way. This is one I can say I have first hand knowledge of. I’ve been volunteered for things in my life countless times and then been given shit if I don’t want to do it day of, as if we’d been in agreement all along about the whole thing.
I know my predicament is something Fluttershy is much more likely to find herself in than a more assertive character like Dashie, but at the end of the day, regardless of if one is typically assertive or not, they ultimately have the right to refuse something they genuinely don’t want to do. Especially if, at work, it goes beyond the scope of what they signed up for. But considering she took the “job” as a favor to Twilight, this level of expectation from her is just absolutely insane.
