please for the love of mares, try using a powdered stain remover. I've been sleeping with a plush every night for the past 5 years (yellow too) and I was able to get rid off the browness just recently by doing a full soak with soapy detergent water/stain removal power and actually scrubbing the fabric itself with the soap.
