Rarity claims that she wants to get married and find her "true love." She apparently wants this so badly that she's even willing to push everybody out of the way during the bouquet toss at Cadence's wedding (not very generous of the "Element of Generosity"). But instead of looking for a good partner, one that would actually treat her well and love her for who she is, she only goes after the highest status stallions that she deems most attractive (Prince Blueblood, Trenderhoof). And no, this isn't because she thinks that they are actually good ponies or that they would actually get along well. In fact, she doesn't actually know anything about them. She is simply going after looks and status because she is a massive gold digging WHORE. She is such a gold digging whore, in fact, that she's willing to change literally everything about herself, including revamping her entire personality, just so she can have a shot with a high status pony who isn't even interested in her. And the worst part of this all is that the show expects us to feel bad for her. We're supposed to feel sorry for her because she can't find her "true love." Well maybe if she wasn't such a gold digging WHORE who only cares about looks and status when looking for a partner, she could actually find her true love, or at the very least we would actually feel bad for her when things don’t work out. Unfortunately, Rarity is a true whore at heart, and no matter how many times she makes the same mistake over and over again, she will never truly learn. She is an image obsessed, social status climbing WHORE who thinks that she is better than everybody else. She thinks that regular good hearted everyday ponies are below her. A whore like her only deserves high status, rich ponies, after all. It's truly sad to see, but once a whore always a whore, and that certainly stands true for someone like Rarity.
This alone should open anybody's eyes up to the true gold-digging whore that is Rarity, further solidifying her status as the objective worst of the Mane 6. And I didn't even have to mention all of the times that she throws away all of her little self respect and acts like a little slut, using her sex appeal on random stallions to get them to give and do things for her (again, not very generous). Unfortunately, Rarifags are too mentally retarded to see anything wrong with their waifu, instead choosing to live in their own imaginary retard land where Rarity is perfect and can do no wrong. And if you bring up any valid criticisms they will send the "average Rarity hater mindset" picture (probably already in the replies) instead of coming up with an actual counterargument.
she feels like a Scott Fitzgerald character.
>>42395167 (OP)Stop calling her a whore, you faggot
>>42395175God I want to be bullied by Rarity. Not in a mean-spirited way, just in an "autist is scared of normal interaction with a girl" way.
>>42395167 (OP)Why do you hate her so much, darling? She won't hate you at all.
>>42395305this whole thread is telling you WHY I hate her retard
>>42395305>she won’t hate you at all.raricucks really have been the esl kids all along
rarity and trixie are my favorite mares in the show and are also some of the biggest cunts in the show as well, go figure :^)
>>42395347I don't see anything wrong with that sentence
>>42395339What I mean by my question is that her actions never harmed any other character, much less you. If anything, her. I understand if you don't like Rarity, but you're completely mad at her. You don't want to be accused of being the "typical Raihater" from the famous screencap, but you sound exactly like one.
>>42395445>her actions never harmed any other characterShe did poison someone one time. And she used Spike as a pin cushion.
>>42395445It does directly harms me because seeing the shit she does is insanely annoying and she almost always gets away with it and never truly has to learn her lesson
>>42395467The Spike part isn't from the comics.
>>42395482Keep being a cuck for whoirty, maybe one day she’ll grant you the honor of being calling handsome just so she could get something out of you
>>42395483Twilight hit him I'm the head once. Is she a horrible pony just for that?
>>42395547When a pretty girl uses her charm to get something out of you and you concede, it's your fault for being so desperate. She's not blackmailing or pointing a gun to your head.
>>42395547I mean, that's pretty fucked up desu, I'd definitely have words to say if she did that in front of me.
>>42395574Starlight actually gets called out and has to apologize when she fucks up. Rarity on the other hand, never has to apologize when she fucks up. Instead, the writers treat her fuck ups as if she was in the right the whole time and that everybody else was wrong all along. For example, that time she was selling princess dresses and decided that it would be a good idea to make major changes to the outfit that the customer never asked for, and then when the customer didn’t like the changes, the writers expected us to think that they were in the wrong and expected us to feel sorry rarity. The difference is that Starlight actually has to learn lessons, even if she has to learn the same lesson multiple times to fully get it, where Rarity never learns anything and is just treated as always being right, or that her flaws aren’t actually flaws but just silly little quirks that make her who she is.
>>42395625>silly little quirks that make her who she isThat's what they are. Just like Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash also have. All three of them are perfect.
>>42395625>more glimmerrat delusionsSays a lot about the kinds of "people" that don't like Rarity.
>>42395639Yeah, her constantly disregarding other people’s opinions and acting like she is always right and can never actually be wrong is just a silly little quirk and not actually a flaw
>>42395719I have zero need to come up with a counterargument when discussing things with glimmerniggers.
Everything they say is wrong and should not be taken seriously.
>>42395727“I don’t have actually have a counter argument because deep down I know that rarity is a massive whore and i actually get off to the idea of being cucked by her”
>>42395708Again, Dashie's arrogance and Pinkie's hyperactivity are silly quirks that make those characters, so they're never punished when they become offensive or annoying. Why would Rarity's attitude be something wrong?
>>42395755>I actually get off to the idea of being cucked by herSo you made this thread just to post this projection of yours over and over? Too bad that the actual Rarity won't never cuck anyone because she's a proper lady
>>42395755>INSTANTLY starts projecting his cuck fetish onto everyone elseSorry, I'm not a flutterfag like you probably are.
>>42395768“Won’t never”
raricucks continue prove that they’re all esl
Friendly reminder that this is what Rarity haters are.
>>42395768>Too bad that the actual Rarity won't never cuck anyone because she's a proper ladyApparently not proper enough to not be willing to throw all of her self respect out the window and constantly act like a little whore just so she can get stallions to do and give her shit for free
>>42395814>image implies [HEADCANON]You lost. Now stop projecting.
>>42395796>willing to throw all of her self respect out the window and constantly act like a little whoreTrying to fit the taste of your love interest is a normal thing that people do, not "acting like a whore". And this only happened once, not constantly.
>so she can get stallions to do and give her shit for freeShe sure aims high but she never expected to get shit for free.
>>42395814Mental gymnastics
>>42395858did you even watch the show? she is constantly shown to act like a slut to seduce ponies in to giving and doing shit for her for free
>>42395883>shown to act like a slut to seduce ponies in to giving and doing shit for her for freeBut enough about your mom
>>42395824everyone in that image is talking about how they dont like her because she acts like the meangirls that would bully / make fun of them, and instead of denying that she acts like that you make fun of them and act like they're not allowed to point out a valid criticism about her character just because they were bullied when they were younger. So im pretty sure its raricucks that lost since their only real argument is "everyone who hates rarity is just a retard that got bullied as a kid"
>>42395894i hope u realize how retarded it is to use something that rarity is shown to do over and over again during the show as an insult to my mom WHILE your trying to defend rarity for doing the exact same thing
>>42395625>that time she was selling princess dresses and decided that it would be a good idea to make major changes to the outfitWhat episode was that? I haven't watched much of the later seasons.
>>42395916Not him but, we don't need to prove that Rarity isn't a mean girl because she's not. People on that screencap are just projecting and using their trauma to justify their hate for Rari.
you're sitll doing this? don't you have something to do in real life, OP? the other thread you made is still up and the same thing happened there. is having constant conversation about not liking rarity with people who do like the best part of your day now?
>>42396002"headcannons" when im just responding to things you said/did
>>42396018You can stop seething now thanks
>>42396014I'm pretty sure this is actually the guy who likes to constantly post the special ed image who made this. We literally already had a Rarity hate thread going, there's no reason for a new one to be popping up here, except of course for the fact that he's already posted his images there and can't do it anymore. I would not be surprised if this is all just his doing.
>>42396031i'd honestly be willing to believe that because these threads end up working in rarity's favor like the last one, so in a weird way i see it
>>42396031Nope, I didn't make this thread or the other one.
And there's at least one other anon who posts it
>>42396037He was right there ready to post two minutes after the thread started. There's no way he's that quick without being in on it.
>>42396018sounds like u dont actually have a counter argument but ur little retard raricuck brain wont let you accept that ur wrong and that ur waifu is a whore so u have to resort to calling any actual sound arguments "seethe"
>>42396046i also noticed in the last thread when the discussion turned to actual conversation about rarity and her character OP went silent entirely, so the "no argument" thing is absolutely bait.
>>42395167 (OP)When you know someone for the first time, you don't instantly know their personality, also Rarity was interested into high status people because she thought they were akin to them for then finding out the truth. In general we all judge people on the apparence unless you are a turbo-assburger, for example if I want to meet someone to talk about ponies I would talk with a fedora guy and not with normalfag looking people.
Are you sure you aren't autistic?
>>42396056i didnt go silent i argued about her character plenty + how the fuck would you even know since this is an ANONYMOUS board
>>42396076the way you type is very distinct, it's not hard to tell. also you contributed nothing during the real conversation, you basically just said two things over and over then went quiet for two hours while grown ups spoke.
>>42396073"when you know someone for the first time"
are you sure YOU arent autistic
>>42396076>>42396082Plus, why make a new thread when the other one was still up and ripe for conversation? It's still up right now in fact.
>>42396082point out exactly where in the last thread i stopped talking then
>>42396090because the last one was about how she is greedy and this one is about how shes a whore
>>42396090i couldn't tell you, this guy is either baiting or really likes sitting there losing an argument or watching others argue. maybe he's the cuck.
>>42396095i'm not going to fetch posts you were there, starting from the conversation on tailoring you went quiet for a very long time which was nice because it allowed a real conversation to occur.
>>42396086YES, I AM.
Simply I'm good at recognising my kin and I can find assburgers easily because I'm one of them
>>42396098The word whore was mentioned plenty of times. And it's not like you couldn't talk about it either, there was plenty of discussion that was unrelated to what OP was saying.
>>42395768why would rarity's attitude be something wrong? idk maybe because it directly affects her friends and the people around her. Like that one episode where she literally disregards her friend's dress/birthday for a high-society party, and when her plan to ditch the party falls apart and Twilight finds the dress that she completely disregarded, the writers make twilight actually likes the shitty dress, instead of having rarity actually learn her lesson and realize that friends are more important than status and image Rarity gets away with being a bad friend. And don’t even say she learns her lesson at the end of the episode, because she never actually has to ditch her unhealthy obsession with status and image or realize that her friends are more important. Instead, fancy pants bails her out, and all the high status ponies like her again. And at the end of the episode the lesson she learns is to "never forget or be ashamed of where you came from" and not "dont be so obsessed with status and image that you're willing to completely disregard your friends" and she then goes right back to being obsessed with status and image.
>>42395768I just wanna say, Dash and Pinkie also having unaddressed issues doesn't make Rarity any better. I don't like that those things are never really called out in those characters either, but I already went hard into Dash in a completely different thread, and now the wheel of topics has turned to Rarity, so now it's her turn.
>>42396158Did she ever disregard her friends or show herself ashamed of her hometown again? No. Because she learned a lesson. The reason why she cares much about looking is because she works at making dresses, fren.
And still, if Pinkie and Dash can be rude and annoying, then Rarity can be confident to the point of hurting your feelings.
>>42396158Sweet and Elite feels like a missed opportunity. You'd think that after directly interacting with the elites and seeing how shitty they are, that Rarity would reconsider her life dream and whether or not she actually wants to be one of these ponies, especially after they make it abundantly clear that they don't respect her friends. Instead, Rarity has exactly zero introversion and still wants to be one of the elites.
>>42396184>if Pinkie and Dash can be rude and annoying, then Rarity can be confident to the point of hurting your feelingsNo, Pinkie and Dash being rude and annoying is bad. Other characters being shit is not an excuse for Rarity to also be shitty.
>>42396199>Sweet and Elite feels like a missed opportunityNTA but is not written anywhere that you have to be exactly like the rest to fit in. Rarity can be both an elite and a good friend and start making a change.
>>42396184um, yes she did, she went on to change literally everything about herself to try and chase a pony who didnt even like her simply because he was high status and she found him attractive, and this annoyed/caused problems for everyone around her and almost ruined the ceremony she was trying to set up
>>42396199>introversionMeant introspection. I knew that didn't sound right.
>>42396184i think the things pinkie pie and rainbow dashes flaws that are just treated as "silly little quriks" are bad too but the difference is rarity being obsessed with her status and image and constantly using others to her advantage make her come off as unlikeable gold digger/whore, while pinkie being annoying comes off as her not understanding social cues / cant tell when people are annoyed by her, and rainbow dash being arrogant and sometimes rude just makes her come off as overly confident and too brash, which is still bad and i do think the writers should have made her learn her lesson too, but in my opinion its still better than coming off as a gold digger/whore with 0 self respect
>>42396184>>42396199>>42396297I actually dislike Rainbow Dash far more than Rarity. I think her issues are far worse, I just haven't been talking about her because this thread is about Rarity's problems.
>>42396297you can be charming without manipulation and you can like nice things without being greedy, it's not like she is constantly plotting to throw other ponies under the bus just for a quick buck or a photoshoot.
>>42396003she acts like a mean girl all the time tho, there are so many instances in the show where rarity outright judges other ponies way of life and belittles/acts better than them. For example: the sleep over episode where she is constantly judging / making fun of apple jack for being more messy and "uncouth", she insists that her way of life (being refined, neat, and graceful) is the right way and that applejacks way is beneath her. And dont say that she learns her lesson at the end of the episode, because she goes on to judge others in the exact same way so many more times throughout the show
>>42396297>gold digger/whore with 0 self respectAgain, this never happened. She acted exaggerated in Simple Ways but aside from that, you have zero examples of her being what you called her.
>BluebloodShe was expecting to meet someone who would treat her like a lady, so she maxed up her look. That's how high society works. She just met the wrong stallion for her, that's all.
>>42396311>you can be charming without manipulation and you can like nice things without being greedyok? but shes explicitly shown to be manipulative and greedy so many times throughout the show
>>42396347i simply don't see it, nothing i saw made me say "oh that's evil". not once.
>>42396306>Rarity's problemsBeing too dramatic, abusing of her image, not handling her relationship with Spike properly.
There you have some actual flaws of her so you don't have to come up with some or just project your insecurities like the rest of anons in this thread do.
>>42396343its pretty obvious she only went after blue blood for his status since she felt the need to explictly state how he was the princess nephew as one of the reasons she wanted to date him and because she was willing to put up with his behavior for so long before finally snapping and ditching him
>>42396361I'm not projecting anything. I'm not one of the ones calling her a whore or anything, I just don't like her vanity and habit of disregarding the opinions and feelings of others all the time in favor of her own tastes.
>>42395167 (OP)she's not a whore anon, she's just very generous with her pussy is all
>>42396373already proved why that image is retarded and why it shouldnt be used to defend rarity since it actually makes her looks worse
>>42396338>>42396358You're just intimidated by her confidence, losers. If she actually despised AJ's lifestyle she would've never participated in the Sisterhooves Social or helped her in the apple buck season
>>42395559K, but when using her charm gets her raped, that's her fault for sending the wrong signal.
>>42396369i think she was just hoping he would have redeeming qualities or display the behavior she was expecting of him, i think she wanted to be with him not for money but because she was expecting a prince charming who would be gallant and polite but blueblood was just kind of snobby so she had to let that sink in before she started raging.
>>423963821. She outright stated multiple times throughout the episode that she didn’t want to do the Sisterhooves Social and was only willing to do it to save her relationship with her sister.
2. you can still want to help someone while thinking that their lifestyle is beneath you at the same time, and she shows that she thinks Applejack’s way of life is beneath her so many times throughout the course of the show.
>>42396399Also Simple Ways showed that she has a pretty shallow idea of what exactly AJ does on a daily basis and what it means to be 'country'.
>>42396413>"""argument"""Whatever helps you sleep at night.
>>42396399i don't think she believes she's "above" other ponies for the way they live, they just do things she personally wouldn't do and she has a strict definition of being polite. i do think there's a difference between thinking you're above doing something and just not wanting to do it personally.
>>42396428>Rarity hater calling anyone else stupidYou niggers were literally in special ed.
>b-bu-Shut up tardo. I don't need to put up a counter argument because I am objectively right.
Now know your place and shut your trap.
>>42396436Sweetie Belle: Seriously?! That's amazing! Look what I did!
Scootaloo: Wow, uh, that's, um...
Sweetie Belle: Horrible! But it was so much fun! Rarity showed me how, even though she says [imitating Rarity] "Crochet is knitting's poorer cousin", [normal] but I loved it!
It's nice that she did something she's not fond of with her sister, yes. Taking the time to tell Sweetie that crochet is shit was not.
>>42396452honestly fair point, it's a bit snobby but she's passionate about these things. grasping a bit here, but she didn't tell sweetie not to crochet but she did inject some negativity, but i kind of like that she's willing to speak her mind at least.
I think we should rename the bottom tier of this pyramid to 'Rarifag in an argument'.
>>42396452Exactly, she very obviously judges and thinks she’s above other ponies lifestyles wether you want to believe it or not
>>42396457ur jumping through so many hoops to try and justify her being overly judgmental, just admit it’s a flaw and move on
>>42396458Refer to the Rarity hater screencap.
There is no point in arguing with tards like you.
>>42396461again, i think there's a difference. she doesn't specifically say no pony should do knitting when they can crochet, she just thinks more highly of knitting. i think it's okay to have some judgements, everybody has opinions. im okay with her being a bit judgemental and having strong opinions, i think that makes her fun. i tend to be judgemental to, but the contrast with wanting to be polite makes it so that you tend to learn new things like she does.
>>42396461And so Honest Apple's moral becomes all the more confusing. Don't be too honest and respect someone's passion, even if you don't understand it, unless you're Rarity. Rarity can say your thing is lame.
>>42396471too* fuck.
>>42396467i do think it's a flaw but i don't think she's twirling her mane smiling thinking "thank celestia i'm not a filthy mudpony" or something, just strongly opinionated.
>>42396471>just thinks more highly of knittingYou can think more highly of something without having to judge and put something else down
>>42396482fair, it was a harsh line. i still don't take much issue with her being a bit judgy, though i do accept it's a flaw she has. as i said before i think things like this contrast well with traits like wanting to be polite and seeing inspiration in new things on occasion
>>42396474>Don't be too honest and respect someone's passion, even if you don't understand it, unless you're Rarity. Rarity can say your thing is lame. That's kinda how the episode already goes, frankly. Applejack doesn't say anything any worse than what Rarity does. I fail to see how AJ calmly saying a dress is too long and will get dirty from dragging the ground is somehow more wrong and uncouth than Rarity telling a pony she shouldn't wear a hat because the brim hangs too low and will obstruct her vision. Honest Apple is built around a double standard where AJ is condemned for doing what Rarity does all the time.
>Little girl who loves to crochet is watching her favorite show: MLP:FIM.
>hears that her fav pony, Rarity, thinks crochet is lamer than knitting
>she never crochets again out of shame
>>42396476>thank celestia i'm not a filthy mudponyThere was that time in the s2 premier when her and Twilight were both screaming when Discord temporarily took their horns so they couldn't do magic, basically turning them into Earth ponies. That's a bit questionable, but I guess a little too heavy of a topic for a little girl's show.
>>42396500she is now a world class knitter
>>42396502yea i figure that was more of a gag, like maybe the shock was just because he can fucking do that and they are missing a piece of their body more than a commentary on how twi and rarity feel about changing their bodies.
>>42396504But she will never be truly happy, for she is only following standards and not her heart.
>>42396510Still though, it's kind of eyebrow raising that they have that kind of reaction to basically being an earth pony now, meanwhile Pinkie and Applejack are just awkwardly standing a few feet away and not saying anything, lol.
>>42396517good thing he put up those walls i guess kek, i suppose we never will know what they really thought
>>42395167 (OP)>>42395175>>42395230Furries rape kids. You're all fucking pathetic. Kys
>>42396502What would you do if a part of your body disappeared all of a sudden?
>>42396452>>42396474>"How dare Applejack say 'fashion is ridiculous' out of frustration of two people having a pointless argument! How mean!">"Crochet is knitting's poorer cousin, lol."Damn, Honest Apple really is just all about Rarity being a hypocrite who can't handle people judging her thing the way she judges other people's things, isn't it? Of course though, only Applejack needs to learn tolerance. After all, how could a glamorous, cosmopolitan socialite like Rarity not already be perfectly fine? She's just like me!
>>42396552in the other thread it was discussed that this episode characterized every character poorly and this is constant in later seasons, this isn't a good reference point.
>>42396560following up on this, isn't there an episode in the later seasons where applejack doesn't know how to farm efficiently? like it's revealed she takes multiple extra steps for no reason every day? it's episodes like these.
>>42396567EVERYONE hates Applejack's Day Off.
>>42396560>>42396567Still though, that's yet another thing you have to ignore for Rarity to not come across as a huge bitch. The comics, the books, anything after season 5. That's a lot of media.
>>42396578i'm willing to go that extra mile because i think every character gets attacked by media like that. twilight throws her friends under the bus for a fucking game, rarity is clinging to spike for some reason when he leaves, aj doesn't know how to farm, etc.
>>42396584once again adding on this, i don't know if flutterfags want to accept the reality where their waifu says "woke" so i think it's a win to just not consider moments like these.
>>42396574>>42396567I hate how Applejack's Day Off was a perfect opportunity to have the other characters engage in Applejack's routine, and could give them an idea of just how hard she works every day and make them more thankful to have her as a friend. Instead, it's just another "Princess Twilight is perfect and amazing at everything and stupid Applejack needs to be more like her".
What else would you expect from Meghan, though? Can't let her favorite be the one in the wrong.
>>42396586>accept the reality where their waifu says "wokeOh god, why did you remind me of that scene? I'm actually cringing thinking about it and the way her face moves when she says it. It's so stupid.
>>42396588yea i guess it's off topic but late seasons are very easy to rag on for things like this, a lot of missed opportunity and bad character moments.
>>42396586Don't forget how she expects fucking predators to eat herbivore food so they won't eat other animals in the sanctuary.
>>42396560idk, rarity coming off as a judgemental bitch seems pretty in character
>>42396599late seasons got all the mane 6 wrong multiple times, it's pretty rough
>>42396603>>42396584The thing is that it's behavior that also pops up in the early seasons as well, so ignoring the later content doesn't really do much.
>>42396603https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3g985OTm90
>>42396608i just like to stick to earlier content where i think their characters were the most solid and consistent, but i did admit i think her being judgy is a character trait she has, but as with a lot of things it was not handled well in that episode at all.
>>42396620Seething with a capital S.
>raritycuck ad hominem thread
>>42396671Why would I waste my time arguing with you? I'm not going to change your mind, and you're never going to change mine.
I'll just call you a retard and you'll refill my bottle of tears when the screencap gets posted.
>>42396684i've been trying to take a defensive stance for rarity and having some discussion maybe i look dumb but i think someone has to try to make a point.
>>42396684So i suppose I'm correct then, you lost and i accept your defeat. rarity is the worst mane six
>>42396689You aren't going to change anyone's mind. Just let them seethe.
>>42396698I won as soon as the screencap was posted. I'm just doing my victory lap.
>42396713
You lost the moment you posted that screencap brownoid. You will keep coping while rarity will keep being a kike
i won.
>>42396701>Someone actually made itHats off to you Anon, I love it.
>>42395175It's amazing how one single image mindbroke every single Rarity hater.
>>42396732>FatYou have no room to be judging, lmao.
>>42396749I how you realize that nobody except for other raritards actually take that image seriously and that it actually makes rarity look worse
calling a character out for being judgemental then harping on a hand with some fat on it says something
>>42396766I've posted plenty of arguments, you're the one unironically trying to pull a
>Haha! I have depicted you as the basedjak, and myself as the chad!
>>42396778Yea, but bare in mind, the guy in question is going around calling everyone who disagrees with him retarded, so it's not like he didn't bring this on himself.
I'm not even sure he actually is a rarifag anymore, he does too good of a job making them look terrible.
>>42396789i will say he's doing a bit of damage
>>42396798He's got to be baiting, there's no other explanation for it. There's no way an actual waifufag wouldn't be able to see how much he's damaging the reputations of his fellow waifufags.
>>42396780>I-i've posted plenty of argume-Shut up tard.
>N-no this is just like special ed all over again!>>42396787Nah I'm winning. I already know Rarity is the superior pony. I'm just here to make you mad.
>>42396789Because every single Rarity hater is a special needs child. I'm not here to argue. I'm just here to make you mad.
>>42396812>You have no arguments!>Yea I do.>N-no shut up! You're retarded! You're like an unfunny version of Monty Python's Black Knight.
>>42396790yes, you can’t find a single point that a raritard made during this entire thread that wasn’t either completely retarded or immediately disproven
>>42396810he is pretty open about it, he reminds me of a anon who dedicates his life to make /mlp/ worse, would not be surprised if he was the one who made those sharty raid threads. or if he is the one who calls every HiE/AiEchad a brown tranny
>>42396810Why would I act cordial towards people who already don't like Rarity?
Why would I be nice to these people vehemently shitting on Rarity?
I'm not going to change their minds, and they're going to continue making seethe threads no matter what.
Might as well have fun and stir the pot.
>>42396826>still can't post a SINGLE argument>still insists he has them thoughStop eating crayons tardo.
>>42396802i still think it goes to show that i as a rarifag am less judgemental
>>42396827i thought we were having an open conversation about the judgemental aspect of raritys character
>>42396832Well you got 1/3 of your boogeyman right.
I think soiteens are faggots and the brownspammer is a bigger faggot.
>>42396846goes to show that someone can learn from their waifu* didn't finish
>>42396846>i as a rarifag am less judgementalYea, but the other guy isn't. Can't really moralize about being judgemental of someone who's going around being judgemental. At that point, it's karma.
>>42396848i still wonder why you come back here then.
/mlp/ loves low quality bait, you said it yourself, enough so that you decided to cope with your 4chan addiction by wasting your time chasing (You)s, if you are as cool and smart as you claim you would've gotten off the 4chan ride
>>42396872i always thought the spamming of that picture was a bad idea, only really fun to have as a joke not a serious way to dismantle someone with a legit problem with her
>>42396867>i still wonder why you come back here thenBecause this is the least shitty place to come and talk about ponies even if it's fucking terrible. My efforts to make this place better did fuck all, might as well have fun while it's sinking.
>>42396698>rarity is the worst mane sixEven if everything that you haters say were real, this still won't be true. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy still exist.
>>42396892Actually I made the Rarity screencap in paint.net, so it's technically different.
>>42396515Don't you have a kingdom to run, Celestia?
>>42396878I think it should be spammed more because it's funny that it gets replies every single time (and it's true)
>>42396892Use any tool that you want to project your personal insecurities into hate for Rarity, I don't care. Just found funny how you celebrate another anon doing it like he just discovered how to start a fire.
>>42396914I just didn't think anyone would actually do it. I was too lazy.
>>42396940i did my best to try and have a conversation, but now i guess it's just two anons flinging shit
>>42396956We were having a conversation until all the rarifags decided to resort to autistic name calling
>>42396971OP cast the first stone. Did you even read his post?
>>42396979I mean he did accurately predict how the rarifags were going to respond (literal first reply is the average rarity hater image)
>>42395245I roleplay this interaction with AI mares all the time. These kinds of scenarios when the mare is teasing and flirting with you and you are kind of awkward and embarrassed are very hot
>>42396984And why wouldn't it get posted in a Rarity hate thread when it generates (you)s every single time?
I guarantee if any other pony had an image like that it would get posted just as frequently, if not more often.
It pisses off the right people so of course it's going to get posted.
Sometimes Anons forget what website they're posting on.
>>42396990>and why wouldnt it get posted in a rarity hate thread?maybe because it makes rarifags look like ultra retards that aren’t capable of forming an argument to defend their waifu
>>42397014You didn't listen to a single thing I just said.
>>42397026 i did read it
>it pisses the right people off so of course its going to be postedsure it pisses people off, but it also hurts the reputation of rarity and all of her fans, so it doesnt really make sense for rarifags to post it unless they dont care about their reputation
>>42397048Do you really think that shitposters care about that sort of thing?
It gets posted BECAUSE it generates buzz, not because it "makes Rarity fans look good."
I would know, I made the damn image.
If this thread was about any other pony, and there was an applicable "X hater mindset" image, it would get posted just as fast and just as frequently.
>>42397060Do you feel like Dr. Frankenstein? Or like Steve Buscemi in Spy Kids 2, Looking on in horror of the beast you've created?
>>42397074Nah I think it's kinda funny. This isn't the first "infamous" spammed image I've made, and it certainly won't be the last.
Don't mess with Rarity guys, I'm serious. She's a princess and deserves to be treated like one. Every one of you calling her a wh*re and a sl*t without any proof of it (that doesn't exist btw) should write a 1500 character reply apologizing. Last warning, darlings.
>>42397201there's an irony in what you're doing, i think you'll see it
>>42397216theres not, we've actually came up with reasons and proof that show why rarity is a bad character and a whore, while the raricucks are unable to actually disprove those arguments and resort to name name calling and shitposting. This image is just us getting back at the retards that spam the same edited rarity hater mindset photo
>>42397225it's been a pretty even conversation that hasn't really proven anything absolute yet, one that you don't add much too outside of harping on someone else's point every thirty minutes. i think you're intentionally forgetting the people trying to have a real conversation.
>>42397232add much to* why do i keep doing this...
>>42397232>it's been a pretty even conversationEhh, yea I guess. NTA, but you did kind of concede that Rarity does often act pretty judgemental and the show very rarely ever seriously calls her out on it. I think it can be agreed the show definitely tends to bend the standards a bit in regards to what's considered 'acceptable' when it comes to Rarity.
>>42397266yea, i did, though i was already willing to say she's snobbish and i guess that's part of it, but i don't see it as a stain on her character and something that contrasts well with other aspects of her personality. also yea, the show isn't always perfect even in the first two seasons but i think some anons take things way too seriously, but here i am too i guess.
>>42397275I only see it as a stain because the show just lets it slide rather than making her grow from it the way that other characters have to grow from their flaws. When the show is calling out other characters for being judgemental while giving Rarity a pass for doing the same or worse, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Basically, the way I see it is that the more double standards I have to hold to excuse a character's behavior, the less I like them. Dash and Rarity are at the bottom of the list for me because they're the two that seem to most often get a pass for things not accepted from some pony of the week or something.
>>42397288ponies of the week don't get a chance to show their good side as much, where main characters like dashie and rarity get explored in both their negative and positive traits quite a lot, i think both characters tend to redeem themselves and their lesser transgressions in serious and impactful moments respectively.
>>42397232what? i literally made the original thread and all of the major points against her character that have yet to be disproven
>>42397311a lot of these were already being discussed (i mean a lot of them have responses that are me carrying this on) and the rest are just points that i've covered before or maybe the one about her being flirty i didn't get to yet, i could but i am still hesitant to really try and share my entire opinion
>>42397318atleast 3 of them where talking points that i started + i wrote the paragraph in my thread, 95% i did more for the "acutal conversations" in this thread than you did
>>42397318You know, I feel really bad for you. You basically had to run defense for Rarity's character single-handedly while the other Rarifags were pissing in the corner being negatively helpful to the effort. Your back's gotta be sore after all that carrying.
>>42397323i guess so, i hopped in both threads half way through and started convos with who i believe to be the same anon or two. if you want credit for starting it sure you can have it, i still don't get why you think there's one side absolutely "winning" or why you act as though no one is providing any defense instead of just saying "rarihater nigger bad"
>>42397330i feel like i just look foolish at this point and am probably getting baited hard, but i do like her character and i have a couple days off so i guess i'm here now. thanks i guess.
>>42397330I don't have anything to gain by arguing online. I doubt there's anything I could say to convince anyone out of their Rarity hating ways.
I like Rarity and making people mad and that's all that matters to me.
>>42397336i mean we kinda of are winning since u already admitted to rarity being overly judgemental and youve yet to say anything about how she uses her image to get free things out of people, is over obsessed with status, and shown to be the greediest out of the m6 despite her element being generosity
>>42397350i feel like there are alot of rarifags who are staying silent and probably just hide these threads, which i probably should have done too.
>>42397357i did admit that but i said that isn't really shocking to me considering i already think she can be snobbish, and that with the other two points you brought up are once again (in my eyes) redeemed by her key character moments. she has scenes and episodes where she is willing to sacrifice all of her vanity or the chance to be where she has always wanted to be for the sake of her friends or what she thinks is right. my favorite rarity moments are the ones where she does the opposite of whore/sell out.
>>42397372I guess that kind of makes sense, but my problem with rarity is that she never actually learns her lesson, even when she has those “key character moments” she usually learns the wrong lesson or goes right back to doing the thing she supposedly learned her lesson for. For example: the fancy pants episode where she should have realized that the high status ponies aren’t people that she should be hanging out with, and that she should stop being so obsessed with her social status, she instead learns that she should “never forget where she came from” and goes back to fucking other things up in future episodes because of her obsession with status
>>42397434i somewhat agree with this, i think there is a lot of missed opportunity with rarity maybe learning something like taking the traits she likes about high society and abandoning the rest and popularizing her own form of being honest and proper or maybe explicitly saying she uses her fame to do the most good (i think the closest we get to this is canterlot boutique), but they never really went that deep. once again why i love to say the later episodes wasted a lot of time, money, and potential.
>>42395814Rarity has never been a classic mean girl, she's very nice.
>>42397636Shes nice if we ignore all those times where she extremely judgmental and looks down/thinks she’s better than other ponies and their lifestyles
>>42397676i thought we already talked about how she can still be nice while being a bit judgy and snobby passively, it was the other anon who brought up how she was willing to teach sweetie to crochet even though she has her own opinions.
>>42397700being nice SOMETIMES doesn’t disregard being an asshole that thinks their better than everybody else, neither does “being nice” to sweetie belle by teaching her to crochet after she mocked it essentially belittling sweetie belle for liking it
>>42397718i think if she had a true malice in her or disdain for the things she speaks down on she would be much more snobby and outright refuse to engage in them, i think it's fair that she would engage in something she knows full well how to do for the sake of building a reltaionship with someone she cares about while speaking her mind honestly - it encourages her to pick up the hobby but also tells her there are other, more sophisticated options for her out there. either way, i think she's snobby but not mean, which makes her cute to me.
>>42397746>think if she had a true malice in her or disdain for the things she speaks down on she would be much more snobby and outright refuse to engage in themIs what I tried to explain here
>>42396382 but Rari haters gonna hate Rari
>>42396701>Making a pyramid targeted against RarichadsSorry, creatively bankrupt. We already had one long before you to BTFO you.
raribros... how are we holding up? what's the next move we're getting nuked right now
Rarity is waiting for her true prince and husbando: me.
My absence makes her try to connect with literal princes and the like, but it never works.
Why? Because they're not me.
Season 9? That's just the timeline where I wasn't transported to Equestria.
Rarity ends up alone because I, her destined lover, never arrived.
The other Mane 6? They move on romantically just fine, because (you) were never their fated stallion.
Their true love is somepony else. Sorry your waifu cucked you, but facts are facts.
>>42398135 Rarity haters are known ESL.
What Rarity needed was a whole episode where she tells Spike things can't work out between them and it's time he moved on. Dragon Dropped looked like it was supposed to be that, but the writers chickened out so they wouldn't upset shippers, so instead you get "Yes, Spike can have a new friend as long as he makes room for Rarity too. Also, her making him do chores isn't wrong in any way."
Fashion is lame and only exists to exploit self conscious people.
