I'm one of those with only a username but that's mostly due to luck and no need for multiple OC names.
Normally I'm having a hard time coming up with names when I register somewhere but this time I remembered a term I've red on this board that made me laugh and rolled with that one. In other cases I kinda regretted my decision months or years later but in this case almost 3 years later I'm still happy with it since it's not too serious and just fits the bill perfectly.

I love customizing but everything nowadays is built to make it as difficult as possible with constant skin-breaking updates and whatever other annoyances they can cause. I used to skin discord but it ran even worse no matter what skin I was using, and it already runs like shit by default.
The only program I really have properly infested with pony these days is Winamp, though Firefox has been Luna themed for the past decade too, but that's only really the bar at the top.

Greetings Horts, tis the Decor slave. I am thinking up ideas for the castle since I need to make a castle again this year but this time... BIGGER. You all know I have a fascination with big things. However, I just wondered, "how big should I make this?" My gut is telling me to make it the size of the sandbox like the Cyberpunk build was. That was the length of the sandbox and very tall... the castle will not be that tall. That is insane. To fill such a large build I am thinking of concepts to include. I do intend to have multiple layers so to speak, and I did promise our Flurry larper that I'd make a Parade Ground. (Still not sure how I'd go about doing that, but we'll see!)

Do I base it on normality in a normal style castle, or do I lean into the fantasy aspects of which I adore so much? A month ago I was chatting with a fe wponies who expressed a desire for a fantasy castle, some wanted X and others wanted Y. Someone even suggested I build a castle inspired by Prifddinas. Where as I want to make a Vampire Castle (You can thank my multiple playthroughs of V Rising for that.)

So my questions;
How big do I make?
What do you want to see fill the castle town interior?
What style do (You) want to see?

Has anyone noticed that the clouds never move linearly?
They steadily speed up without you noticing (you can see it best if you look at footage from hours ago and compare with now) and at some point they kinda speed up for a sec really fast and then a hard cut to super slow and the whole thing repeats over the day.
What's the idea behind these mechanics? Why would they make clouds behave like this and not linearly?

It's probably the second nicest pony sim after Baltimare. No, wait, third nicest after Ponyville, but bear in mind Ponyville is usually extremely empty so it's more of a beautifully crafted set-piece than an actually lived-in sim.
Anyway, Mare's Nest is basically ran by petfag (based) trannies (cringe). It's very normie as a result, and the average avatar quality is definitely a lot lower than Baltimare, but at least the owners and staff are mostly pony-focused so you don't get tons of anthro furfag shit like in Luna's. I don't think there's an R1 being enforced, but I also just haven't ever really seen any furfags walking around the few times I've been there. I wouldn't live there but it's not an awful place to visit at times, and some of the ponies there are actually pretty nice.

It was renamed Baltimare honestly after not too much time. I think it was after the hangout had already been moved to ground level, but we still had the big merchant wall for a loooong while yet. Over the time the sim slowly improved, at some point Quote started maniacally improving fucking everything which massively helped in turning the sim from a half-prim blocked out building site into an actual good looking city, including building actual shops which eventually resulted in the merchant wall being removed (back when it was in two parallel streets surrounding the hangout rather than the current merchant plaza, that came in a later redesign)
