That depends entirely on the clanker.
I think some would integrate just fine and be seen as regular ponies.
Others might be too weird or unnerving to fit in.

The real question is how are they going to survive in a low or mid-tech Equestria without access to proper maintenance?

Could a unicorn reliably recharge her power source?

Would repair spells work to keep her components in good condition?

Taking care of your cybermare in Equestria might not be easy.

I'm not sure if this is exactly where it originates, but it's used quite frequently in The Clone Wars. Clones and many others were calling droids clankers at least as far back as 2008, and yes it was often used derogatorily. The modern political nutjobs and newer generations have seemingly taken a liking to the word, and are using it unironically to insult AI and robots across the globe.

We'll figure something out. It won't be pretty, of course. Why would it be? Making new people, while discarding damaged ones like trash, is pretty. Survival is never pretty. It is brutal, futile, exciting, with all kinds of painful trade-offs and sudden setbacks. Replace failing electronics with an ad hoc magical spell. Make local blacksmith and glassmaker ban me from their shops, they think I've no idea what I'm doing, they don't know how right they are. Power source? Is necromancy still banned?
I think I saw something like that in a dream a few years ago.
