I agree Anon, it was a nice time, despite me being a barbyfag. The panels were pretty weak this year, but a lot of memorable moments and met a lot of anons that I hope I can talk to again next year. A good time was had by all, I'd say, and most of these anons can't comprehend getting out of their confort zone and have to use shit like "normiefair" to jerk themselves off and justify their self imposed exile. A plane ticket to Florida and back costs around 2000 dollars, plus paying for the con itself, for the hotel, some money to spend there, and before that i'd have to spend even more money to get a US visa (and getting that visa approved is not guaranteed). I met some anons in the 2010s, went to some cons and had some small hangouts and with some time I gradually realized I was dissatisfied with those experiences. Some of it's me, not being good at socializing when I have almost nothing in common with everyone else aside from FiM and 4chan, and some of it was them, seeing them with their faces buried in their phones when we weren't even group planing, or being asked to watch everyone's stuff at a table at a con as they peeled off one by one with other people. After the last meetup a few months before the first mare fair I decided I wasn't going to do that stuff again and reconciled with myself that it wasn't meant to be.
