Might as well add something very odd that I have observed. I volunteer with a local horse rescue cuz horses are cool. Anyway I noticed that all my fellow volunteers were either students from the local high school just doing their required service hours or other men well into their adulthood. The only woman anywhere near my age is an employee of the farm. Granted this is just one example, but I can't help but find it odd that I have seen 0 women in the 20-35 demographic that have ever volunteered there in my 2 years.
