This mostly, BMF feels like a prototype.

That's my issue, the experiments are often distractions from the absence of an essential band member. Some are cool, some are not. You can't make great songs just by dumping a box of ideas on the floor.
Also, comparing Worm album to Worm album, some of the mosh parts are fucking flat compared to None So Vile. Some of that is no Jon, some of that is Flo being creatively checked out.

It's a 35 minute apology for The Unspoken King, so it gets a little too safe. It makes songwriting fumbles and has over-clean production, but it's the closest there is to a Whisper Supremacy 2 (ATYB is a little too busy, and DiSalvo being sick during recording doesn't help). I can't justify why I like this specific flavor of bullshit past that.
