For me, it was the Ray Gillen era
>era
>1 album
eternal idol is a pretty cool collection of riffs, but I don't like the 80s production and coverdale style songing
cross purposes is the best martin album though
don't know why headless cross is so overrated, it sucks, only cool song is black moon and that's an idol outtake
These songs were not riff heavy. They stand out as more solid songs. Try to recall a riff from B.A. Then do it for the good Ozzy ear or the Dio era.
For me it's Heaven & Hell
Best-looking Sabbath singer at least.
Talented guy. Shame he had to screw around when he knew he had AIDS and pretty much get his whole catalogue deleted.
>>127150332N/m, I had the wrong Gillen. I forgot they had 2 singers with that name.
>>127150401Dear Lucifer, one was GillAn the other GillEn
>>127150462Possibly bisexual, but the official story is that he was a merciless poonhound even by rock star standards who briefly dabbled in heroin.
>>127150485The guitarist from Ratt also got AIDS
>>127150496Yeah it's amazing more of the 80s guys didn't go down to AIDS honestly.
If Halford was half as much of a degenerate as he claims in his autobiography it's nothing short of a miracle he's still alive.
>>127150485>>127150496Whatever happened to Richie Blackmore, that's what I wanna know. The virtuoso, silent type.
>>127150519Dio put him in some hot porridge and lapped him up, with extra sugar.
>>127150519Blackmore's not gay, just bald.
>>127150610It's gonna be a while 'till I eat anything from McLaughlin's
>>127150519He got a qt artsy backup singer girl and is living the good life.
>>127150516He probably just said that to sell copy.
