Lackluster, I'd say the 2000s was the last decade of innovation, with "avant-garde" everything, resulting in albums like the iconic Blackstar. After speed listening/binge over 100 albums, you see that, while there's virtually no limit for "innovation" most of it will suck. Pop, rap, R&B... saturation, hits aren't even catchy to me anymore.

Most likely because the alternative could have been listening to Disturbed or Simple Plan.

That's why over the years I left famous bands/artist that I've never listened to so I can have something exciting to bump in the future.

I just started listening to Radiohead 2 months ago. What a treat.

I have 4-5 artists like that to look forward to.
