Chart Thread
Disorganized chart of more or less my last 2 weeks as I've descended into alcoholism and my marriage has broken down

The Spectrum and Poison Girl Friend albums are very good.

Bork is great. Poison Girl Friend actually reminded me quite a bit of Boa. That's my favorite Depeche Mode album. Haven't listened to Sundays or Everything But the Girl so I will now. Feel obligated to mention I was introduced to Fishmans way before they became RYM-core via Long Season and never cared for 98.12.28. Have listened to everything else on your chart and it was pretty good.

Everything but the Girl is great. Their earlier stuff is similar to Sade, then they went on to making downtempo and house music. Here is my favorite song from each style.

Nice Susumu Yokota. Been meaning to check out Sophie and Spacemen 3.

Lots of good stuff here, nice BoC and AT of course, really like HoLV and HND as well. Fishmans and The Sundays has been on my list for a long time, and I need to listen to more Bjork.

I'm 2 weeks off of drinking atm; shit was starting to run my life a little too much for my liking. Don't let yourself get there, anon. Sorry about your marriage. Hang in there.

Try Walrus - Hikari No Kakera. Some ethereal and hopeful vibes for these troubled times you find yourself in.

>>127379553
You ever listen to the Warped Records 'Artificial Intelligence' series? Some 90's IDM deep cuts, some from (now) well known producers under different aliases. Pretty cool stuff. If you could only stand to listen to one or two of them, try the first compilation album, or maybe F.U.S.E - Dimension Intrusion.

Jeez man I'm sorry about your marriage. Wishing you luck with everything. Anyways, I think that it's crazy that you left out the velvet underground self-titled. I get that it's poppier and stuff though, so i understand why it's not there. I've been meaning to get into Spacemen 3, they seem cool.

I wonder what a non-generic taste would be like, mine is narrow, although I can somewhat enjoy catchy pop/rapslop, that's not something I would ever seek on my own. People posting jazz/acoustic/folk/funk/hip-hop is what seems weird to me. I really like these kind of genres >>127380912 on the 1st 2nd and 4th suggestion, basically pop-punk-glam-rock, some metal, new wave and synth, stuff like this; https://youtu.be/kXUIqvZcJrc?si=DTzho-R-42B0K05k , dont know if that is generic/normie, to me normie is whatever is in the billboard top 50.

You chose the worst AT, Autechre and BoC imo, but they're not bad albums at all. Curious about Tomorrow's Harvest in particular, why that one over the rest of BoC's stuff? Fuck, now I wanna give it another listen to see if maybe I've misjudged it.
