I suspect my SAS card is dying or something. I've had issues where a drive will get rejected from the zpool for too many errors, but when I try to disconnect and reconnect the drive to get it back into /dev it won't come back.
Then it randomly switched and a DIFFERENT drive started failing after the old one finally showed back up. Its like the symptom just swapped drives.
So after much disconnecting, reconnecting, rebooting, and resilvering then BOTH drives are failing. After disconnecting on, resilvering the other, then reconnecting it and it resilvering, they finally got along and all drives are working.
Is this the sort of behavior you folks have seen when a SAS card is being a fucker? I initially thought my drive was dying but when the issue randomly swapped to the other drive I thought it had to be the SAS card.
I guess it could be a power supply issue, maybe all 6 drives on the two SATA power lines is too much for the thing, but I'm not sure.
