lots of voice actors try their hand at singing. E.G. Daly and Grey Delisle tried it too and were just as bad (if you heard Grey's album she had zero pitch control).

By that point he would usually put A and B albums in the main CG columns and albums he didn't like got a bomb or scissors symbol or were listed in the annual Turkey Shoot column. Also by the 90s he was often padding out CG columns with like 50% African music because I guess he was that bored of conventional Anglosphere pop by that point.
