Yeah, we're not just destroying ourselves mentally and physically, we're also destroying out planet. Unfortunately, we as a species are not going to pull the plug so it'll keep going until the system violently implodes sooner or later

>Apart from the most elementary mathematics, like arithmetic or high school algebra, the symbols, formulas and words of mathematics have no meaning at all. The entire structure of pure mathematics is a monstrous swindle, simply a game, a prank. You may well ask, "are there no renegades to reveal the truth?" Yes, of course. But the facts are so incredible that no one takes them seriously. So the secret is in no danger.

>The conservatives are fools: They whine about the decay of traditional values, yet they enthusiastically support technological progress and economic growth. Apparently it never occurs to them that you can’t make rapid, drastic changes in the technology and the economy of a society without causing rapid changes in all other aspects of the society as well, and that such rapid changes inevitably break down traditional values.

>The breakdown of traditional values to some extent implies the breakdown of the bonds that hold together traditional small-scale social groups. The disintegration of small-scale social groups is also promoted by the fact that modern conditions often require or tempt individuals to move to new locations, separating themselves from their communities. Beyond that, a technological society HAS TO weaken family ties and local communities if it is to function efficiently. In modern society an individual’s loyalty must be first to the system and only secondarily to a small-scale community, because if the internal loyalties of small-scale communities were stronger than loyalty to the system, such communities would pursue their own advantage at the expense of the system.

...

>Conservatives and some others advocate more “local autonomy.” Local communities once did have autonomy, but such autonomy becomes less and less possible as local communities become more enmeshed with and dependent on large-scale systems like public utilities, computer networks, highway systems, the mass communications media, the modern health care system. Also operating against autonomy is the fact that technology applied in one location often affects people at other locations far way. Thus pesticide or chemical use near a creek may contaminate the water supply hundreds of miles downstream, and the greenhouse effect affects the whole world.

I work in a data center they built on an Indian wars battlefield near my home town. It pays decently, has advancement options, I like my coworkers, and I'm not slaughtering pigs like a couple guys I know from high school.

But every day I get home and imagine blowing the place up. It's such a blight.

When will the anprim/ecoterror meme make a comeback? It's way more fun than posting Hitler and lets you guilt liberals about not really caring about the environment while still hating minorities and jews.

Supposedly 167 IQ
So you're telling me this supposedly "167 IQ" guy dropped out of society in 1969 to pursue his "lone wolf terrorism campaign" but he didn't actually start bombing anyone till 1978 (9 fucking years later), then he only manages to kill THREE people using the shittiest pipe bombs imaginable, some of which don't even detonate. Then this nigger has the audacity to act like some sort of celebrity for killing - among other non-important people - some random fucking computer store owner.

The fact that he even killed anyone is a miracle. Personally, I would be embarrassed to be injured by one of his glorified firecrackers.

The tactics that the CIA used on Ted Kaczynski is what transformed him into the Unabomber. Also those tactics are no longer permissible in the 21st century.
