Changed my mind on Voruna's companion, Huras is definitely worth it and not redundant/double dipping because it covers the little gap of 1 visibility when pressing 2 and some other small things

those are often for weapons that have multiplicative base damage scaling from galv, which is typically because they have a dual fire mode or explosive component and the direct hits get the mult while the rest doesn't

I just slapped on two Merciless without really bothering to think about it for now, especially since it already does good enough damage for hordes even without Arcanes and I rarely take it out anyway outside of Archimadea due to primaries being better.

Primary Frostbite and Secondary Shiver with Cold damage seem like the only viable alternative to Merciless/Merciless or Merciless/Enervate.

Don’t even need to do it that way. Take any frame into SP orb vallis. Fly to temple of profit and stay in archwing and make sure you stay at least 120m above the enemies with the simaris scanner. They never move so you can scan them, fly towards ustara crater and you’ll come across a land bridge and half a land bridge where there’s a big turret underneath them. Hover above the full land bridge and scan the turret then fly back to temple of profit and you can scan the enemies again. Just repeat that a couple times and you’ll have maxed the simaris standing

It’s only when you go to simaris and ask if there’s specific enemies he wants you to scan that you can get 3,000 or so to scan an enemy a few times. i haven't played with nu-oberon yet, but just from watching his video, i have major issues with his entire argument. he's trying to play oberon, a support frame, as an ability dps one. he's using the single-target tank buster ability as an aoe damage ability and the aoe enemy debuff ability as a damage ability. by playing like that, he's comparing oberon to frames like atlas, khora, and gara
this isn't a PvP game and comparing things in a PvE game is just plain retarded, the only valid questions are: can this thing do the content it's supposed to do? and does it have any value, or is it completely pointless?

the only thing he said that made sense is that the current health damage from smite is underwhelming, but i understand why they did it that way. smite is the subsume ability, and granting everyone a "fuck you in particular" button would not have been a great idea
a simple fix could be that each stack of radiation on the target grants additional 2 or 3% max health damage (with this interaction removed from the helminth version). this would allow oberon to one-shot a target with a bit of setup or with two casts without setup

Secondly, regarding the Aya Acquisition conversation, we changed Open Landscape Bounties in The Vallis Undermind update, causing stages to randomize when a specific Bounty is run repeatedly. This change affected certain niche tactics players would use to farm Aya much more efficiently than the usual randomized Bounty structure intended. We did not adequately convey our goals with this change to the patch note team, and we apologize for that.

While we stand by our intention with these changes, some players highlighted that the sheer disparity in Bounty stage length would cause some Bounties to take significantly longer, due to bad luck with randomly selected stages. We agreed with this sentiment, and wanted to review how long certain Bounty stages would take, reducing the duration of stages that we found took the longest.

In the interest of making changes quickly, we will be updating the following Bounty stages with simple modifications intended to reduce duration:

Plains of Eidolon:
Resource Theft: Reduce defense timer from 2m to 1m30s,
Liberation: Reduce defense timer from 2m30s to 1m30s,

Orb Vallis:
Rescue: Tripled progress gained from pickups meant to accelerate mission,
Each pickup now reduces the defense timer by 30 seconds, up from 10 seconds
Coildrive Hack: Reduce defense timer from 2m30s to 1m30s,

Cambion Drift:
Liberation: Reduce defense timer from 2m30s to 1m30s,
Excavation: Reduced number of excavators required for completion
All required excavators are now deployed at the start of the bounty stage,

Not with a riven, but Ember's Fireball Frenzy augment mod and MAYBE Temple's Ripper's Wail / Cyte-09's Resupply abilities give non-combining heat damage. There's also the Basmu which and Shedu which have heat/electric separated on their projectile/AOE components, so you could just mod those for viral and have all electricity/heat/viral that way.
