The fact that a band full of 55 year olds is still turning out decent records is still respectable to me. Plenty of acts from 10 years ago have already come and gone. Deftones is one of the few "classic rock" acts we have today.

I don't give a fuck what anyone says.
I had their first album. I turned it on once, and after the first song, "get bored" i never listened again. But this new album sounds nice. What every you think you're doing, no one cares.

A few of these songs have grown on me after initial listens. Ecdysis is probably the best example, but Locked Club and cXz are also getting better with repeated listens.

All the zoomer girls aren't gonna stop listening to them just because it annoys you. >>127519950 (OP)
Mind is a Mountain bored me to tears but I guess some of the other songs, Milk of the Madonna but other non singles I've heard since were pretty good too. Ohms didn't very little for me so I could see listening to this one more at least.

Mind is a Mountain could have been better if they kept the slow buildup for another two or three mins but zoomies wouldn't have the attention span for that. Madonna actually got me hyped for an album like Gore again.

What are you talking about? Do they have people with soul patches and goatees hanging out at high schools handing out 30 year old albums? The feds are trying to get people to frost their tips and wear JNCOs again?
