Go anywhere online (or even irl) with a lot of punk fans and they will tell you that being punk is purely about pushing far left politics, and that if you aren't, you aren't punk.

I wouldn't say im anywhere near as deep as most "music fans" but most people are still impressed by the bands I like an recommend so
I think people who play halo on legendary as their main way to play are on a whole other wavelength or dont care about the game.
Hardened is difficult but still makes you feel like a super soldier going up against competent foes, but legendary throws out most of the smart mechanics of halos gunplay and forces you to find every exploit you can to beat your enemies.
Listening to people who consistently play legendary talk about the game sounds the same as people who speedrun the game

I think we're about to make a shift.
Mainstream is pretending to be interesting (I like it more then most of the 2010's but thats not a high bar), and indie is just copying shit from 20-30 years ago.
What we need is the indie scene to get out of the box a little and for record labels to do the same and be willing to take in more then just the progeny of people who've already found success

This, but to be fair any musician that started before 1980 doesn't have good albums just good singles. Buy a double complilation cd of cash and you'll have his best "album"
