Weight Loss For Lazy POS
I've always been a fat kid, and while I evened out a bit as I got older, I still wouldn't mind slimming up a little. Even 20 pounds would make me look skinny, but no matter what I try it seems like the opposite always happens. Eat less? Exercise? Gain 20lbs. Lay around all day? Eat whatever I want? Lose 20lbs. I've already attempted a calorie calculator for defecits and followed workout routines and haven't had much luck, even harder now that I drink.
Any advice would be appreciated.

>20 minutes of exercise and some light exercise at work
>zig-zag calorie defecit (cuz I like food) of 1500 five days a week and 2400 two days a week.
>12-15 drinks a week, usually kept to two days of the week

exercise matters less than just eating less. how many meals do you eat during a day? try 1 less. eating habits also matter. do you tend to eat until you're so full that you feel like you need a rest after? eat a bit less during your meals.

You're either bad at math or you are being delusional about your actual calorie intake. Also aerobic exercise, which is what I assume you mean by "light exercise" does basically fuck all for your TDEE. Also "drinks" have calories too.
Advice: Stop being a faggot. Actually take your diet seriously. Lift weights.
Not complicated.

Eat less and stop drinking. Those drinks is like 2000+ cal btw are you even counting those in your calories. Are you actually tracking calories or just guessing? You must be wrong in any case.

Calories are allowed to be up to 20% off. Literally someone needs to post a skinny person not counting calories equivalent of this meme every time people talk about weight loss. Literally just consider what you are eating and use common sense, and lean towards being unhappy and starving yourself over binging whenever psychologically managable.

I was anorexic in high school and realized calorie "optimization" is bullshit because it wasn't helping me lose weight. You need to learn about different food materials and how fattening they are. And leans towards eating the less fattening foods to fill yourself. Basically avoid the fatty foods unless a small amount is all the food you eat that day. Body fat is like a battery we where of all our extra calories.

I was the skinny version of this. I thought I ate SoOo MuCh FoOd how come I can eat whatever I want and I never ever get fat this is so crazy!
Then I actually tracked every single calorie for a month and realized that I wasn't even hitting 2000 calories/day on average. Got in the gym and had to stuff my fat fucking face every single day and spend half of it lying on the couch feeling like my stomach was going to explode for the first month or two just to be able to gain 30 lbs.

I had to pull out the ol' calculator from normal units to amerimutt units

bro your BMI is 25
you're right on the upper bound of healthy

I'm BMI 30.4, which is 0.4 into the "Obese class 1" category. What do you think I have to say for myself?? I'm the fat one bro, you got jack fucking shit. you're healthy weight. eat a dick

and for actual advice well, I walk a lot, about an hour or two a day (5 to 10 kilometers, calculate that you idiot) and I eat at a 500 calorie deficit. That helps me lose a consistent 1kg a month, max 2.
but at that weight, you must go to the gym to make a real difference, you're too thin to be able to just shed weight without putting in extra extra mucho grande more work into it.

stupid fucking whiner you're okay

two usually. I tried having a couple days of fasting as well at one point, but it made me feel like shit and I didn't seem to be getting anywhere. That's part of why I have those 5 days of 1500 as opposed to 2400.
>>33854891
I'm broke rn so it's a lot of pre packaged shit and on top of rounding up everything to the nearest hundred I write it all on my hand. I'm aware ""light exercise"" isn't doing much, but I wanted to give you information, as well as ""drinks"", since I count the calories of those as well but know they drop your metabolism.
in other words, fuck yourself.
>>33854893
Most of those are shots of vodka that I've looked up the calories for and keep track of
>>33854915
I've been trying to focus on this more too. Ramen is obviously not a healthy choice, but it's what I can afford most days, so I tend to make sure I take out some of the noodles, add vegetables and some protein, and extra water to fill me up. Should def start putting some more effort into eating salads as well.

You didn't realize shit except that you needed to eat more. It always boils down to eat more or less. PEOPLE NEED TO STOP OVERTHINKING IT! Everyone thinks they eat a lot because it is relative and everyone eats enough to satisfy them and consider that "a lot". I might have seen the food you consumed daily and thought was "a lot" and I would have thought it was a little. Japanese people eat small meals and call it a lot.

Thank you for being aggressively kind.
I mostly do what I do cuz I don't wanna look like a 40 year old dad by my late 20's like so many men do. Plus, I do like feeling hot.
Everyones responses are convincing me I honestly should just focus on putting on some muscle. It might push me closer to getting the 40 year old dad look but at least I'd FEEL healthier.

At 20 and 6'3 and 200lbs your BMR is only 2100kcal. its impossible to do a 2400kcal deficit

no problem that's what I'm here for

>I mostly do what I do cuz I don't wanna look like a 40 year old dad by my late 20's like so many men do. Plus, I do like feeling hot.

those are some very valid reasons. this is all the same with me. I was a really, really fat fuck, BMI of 36.7 (Obese class 2) in January, I lost 40 pounds and now in October I'm 30.4 (Obese class 1, right on the entrance to Overweight bracket) and the thing is, I don't want to replace one problem with another.
Being skinny is already a step higher than me, for sure, but yeah I totally understand loving the feeling of being hot, and staying looking young like a G.
So, I support you going and working out, I've been talking about going to the gym for so long and then I don't do it, I swear to fucking god after my deadline end of this month I'm going to the gym, I'm just as angry at myself as I am angry at you fool
you can do it

>>33855034
yes I agree, but for us fat fucks who don't work out, BMI is a pretty good indicator, we're mostly blubber anyway. I'm like, 27% bodyfat? something crazy like that
