Eventually some random dude from 55 posted the OP's pic on /mu/ in 2009 in a thread asking for post-rock recs, saying that she was his sister and that she liked post-rock, and that was enough to capture the hearts of hundreds of gringo anons, to the point that these photos are still spread around today more than 15 years later by even more people who don’t even have a notion of it's origin. An inextinguishable affection for the simple, abstracted image of a 2000s indie tomboy.
