Low-ranking coastal elite moving to Illinois to complete my bachelor's degree, just finished my associate degree in New England, where I'm from. Unfortunately, being priced out of the region right now pretty hard. I got offered in-state tuition at one pretty decent looking university too, and among the lower cost of living, better rent control, and some other choice factors, it just seemed like a good move to make right now.
Skilled guitarist / bassist, okay-ish singer, mediocre programmer. Prefer weed to alcohol, and beer to hard liquor. Cigarettes and coffee are the vices I truly couldn't live without though. Occasionally read, mostly game. Linux user.

I'm gonna be getting an apartment with my best friend of 6 years now, who I met on this board funny enough. We both don't really come here much anymore though, but I figured I'd post again, and see if I found anyone else interesting from the Midwest. Especially close by in Illinois. So, if you think you can be the one to complete our "bro-trio", maybe you have what it takes. We are also looking for a drummer, but for real though.

Not sure, but I'm sure I'll know when I see it. I generally don't have high hopes about anything, but that means I can be easily impressed or at least placated often. Only really met one or two people from this board who were ever worth a damn, one of them being my friend that I'm moving in with.
