With current technological advances, why record some no-talent human slut's vocals, have it altered to the point where it's unrecognizable, and then have her mime the lyrics in a music video at all if the process can be fully automated? They take all of their drug/human trafficking money and they exchange it for crypto. Then they use the cryptocurrency to pay automated bot farms to artificially boost their music artist of choice on a music streaming service. Now their crime money is legitimate, taxable revenue. They churn out some music with an app and attach a single person as the actual 'artist' and this fully legitimizes the paper trail. They used to use just fake shitty throwaway acts for this but now they can just use whoever.

they've been around for a few years now - some former major label guy and bankers. tried to set up a spac a few years ago to get in on the music rights acquisition game but it fell apart.

my guess? they bought a bunch of streams to pump this single into the charts for press.
they're probably looking to get back into the rights acquisition game and need funding from a bank.
