Every car on the road is either an SUV or a truck. Sedans are dying. No one is making sedans. It’s over. I blame fat people for this.

What I really resent is old ladies buying giant SUVs.
Half of them struggle to even see out of them, all of them struggle to navigate with them. They're a danger to everyone around them.

Height fucks with perception. Think about how you feel standing vs sitting down; when you sit down, you're lower. In a tall car, you're sitting "down" UP INTO the car. And then the doors and dash block your immediate line of sight. This makes the world around you feel smaller, and you bigger. If you've noticed, SUVs feel slower when going straight thanks to this perception fuckery, but faster when taking a turn thanks to body roll among other things.
With all of this said, suvs feel less natural to drive and are really quite un-fun.
