I fucking hate living in the EU

There are no new sportscars being on sale because they make a new regulation every month
>muh emissions
>muh pedestrian safety
>muh lane keep assisst
>muh fleet co2 average
Not to mention how they fuck you with insurance and taxes

It all feels so targeted too, like some stupid Karen bitch in Brussels is specifically hating on car guys

You're a complete fucking moron and you're also wrong. The reason the major OEMs don't make sports cars any more is not enough people bought them - they are a business, not a car club.

Regulations don't change that often, your can still buy MX5, plus there's A110, Aston Martins, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Maseratis and they all pass the applicable regulations.

KYS you retard, you know nothing what are talking about. Emissions regs are major problem in 2024+ because these cars produce less power than older cars. Emissions regs are also reason why more modern engines have poorer reliability and shorter lifespan than 1991-2006 cars.
Most of full hybrid cars are not faster than older cars except on acceleration from 0-62mph. the older non-hybrid 150hp car has even higher top speed than most of those regular(non-supercar) 2023+ 330hp combined hybrid cars. There are lots of 2026 cars coming with less amount of power than previous year.

The Euro 6E and Euro 7 completely ruined cars performance. EU really should be removed from this whole planet. Thankfully democrats lost president elections in America because they copy car emissions, safety standards from EU and vice versa.

I live in the EU, drive a naturally aspirated V8 with emissions out the wazoo, and yes it costs a bit more, but so does everything else you'd want to enjoy.
If you're not willing to spend €100-200 more a month than the average joe driving some cuckmobile, then you're not a real one. Everything nice takes some amount of sacrifice and/or work. Yes that appears to come much cheaper in the US but that continent is fucked in many other ways to offset this.

>illigally tuned car, car without FAP
he keeps the car there for 1-2 weeks, writes the date you left it there on the certificate so if the police stop you he can claim that he gave the car back to you on that date and you modified it after the inspection
>insurance
roughly 3 million cars without insurance, if there's a police checkpoint the other drivers flash you to warn you so you can turn around and avoid it. if you're in naples you can buy a car with polish plates and get way lower insurance prices

>erosion of the law
>less people getting into fun cars because people generally don't want to break the law
>less people getting into the hobby because even if you're ready to break the law it requires additional effort
>less fun cars being made/imported/sold because little demand
>any organized group is basically a group of criminals, and that makes it harder to organize and to attend events and so on

And? I assume there weren't enough sales to make it worthwhile re-engineering it to meet the emissions requirements. In fact
>Suzuki UK hasn’t been especially keen on selling the Jimny. The British intake of the retro-styled off-road workhorse has been deliberately restricted, as its low-powered, 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated inline-four belches out a hilarious 170g/km of C02 in automatic form.
>That’s a higher emissions figure than a BMW M340i, to give some context, and the manual isn’t much better - it manages an unimpressive 154g/km. If Suzuki sells too many, it’ll screw up the firm’s average fleet emissions. Now, though, it seems Suzuki will go one step further, by removing it from the European range altogether.
as it puts out more CO2 than an M340i it sounds like it's not a day too soon.

But, on the other hand, pic rel.
So Suzuki can do it, they just can't be arsed for an antiquated off-roader only about 20 people per year buy. What a surprise
