Its an Italian machine. Looks pretty, is built by men who stopped evolving about 180,000 years ago.

I pay the dealership $110 for an oil change on mine. The 4 cylinder is cheap to maintain. The QV has a 3k serpentine belt change every 4 years.

Based. I was going to get one last year but the dealership said I couldn't order one and never notified me when cars would arrive.

Pic related I should've bought instead of the ti sport 4 years ago.

don't think just do
same motor out of a jeep, same zf8 out of a charger, somehow drives better than any other sedan on the road under 100k
also get a jb4 piggyback and turn the boost up to 30psi. I've seen multiple high mileage giulias take 31 with a smile. alternatively, there's a turbo swap kit. motor itself will sail right up to 400hp without any internal changes

AR is actively choking out its US dealers through a combination of stop sales over minor bullshit, total lack of marketing, poor product management with option selection, a general lack of vision for both refreshes and new products, and most importantly a growing focus on limited runs of high performance models. 33 mc20 body kits, rumors of another limited run coupe, rumors of limited QV production. the 33 wasn't sold through dealers, it was that french cunt's pet "I want to play salesman" vanity project that couldn't even secure a budget for its own stuff. The MC20 itself was scalped off AR. The Hornet scalped the Tonale, their attempt at wider market growth (it would have failed anyway because tonales are trash, but it was an effort). Dealerships get tsunamis of cars early in a model year and nothing for month and months, leaving inventory to visibly rot on the lot.
AR dealers are closing because the AR management charitably don't give a fuck and uncharitably want to kill the brand off entirely.

Nah. Giulia was a bespoke platform for Alfa. Next ones are going to be rebranded PCA or Dodge cars. I don't have any hope for the brand. The dealer I bought the car from shut down but there's 3 other dealers close to me. The one I use is combined with CDJR but the AR side is dead. Another dealership changed owners. The most popular one I haven't been to in a while but there's barely any cars and it looks dead whenever I pass by.

OP, I drove the shit out of one of the 2024 Veloce's in the mountains recently and while it's a great car here are my honest opinions:
>$$$$: The base model 200hp version is a better value unless you are car-retarded and can't retune stuff. Also, the depreciation is hideous on these so buy one used; you get a lot of car for the money and then don't have to suffer
>The redline comes on very quickly, so retuning for a higher redline (7000 if you're feeling ballsy, 6k if not) would be a nice improvement.
>Power was ok, flappy paddles were nice quality but I don't understand the excitement. It's still an automatic and it would've been way more fun in a manual. The only people who drool over the ferrari paddles and the zf8 are fags and children. That said, it's works fine and is a good choice for most people as a DD. If you're in Europe I'd get a manual QV (lower spec diesel manual transmission is weak and can't be tuned much past 220hp which sucks, but would still be a fun daily).
>The steering is good. The way the car handles is surreal. Felt like driving an RX-8 despite being much larger.
>The car is big, it's a full-size sedan that handles almost like a sports car. But it's still big, so if you're in europe/asia it might be annoying to deal with as a DD.
>If you want to be fast just get the QV like another poster said.
>Interior was nice, impressed my gold-digger date. I thought it was better than my BMW 2-series interior. It is simpler/classier though, which is off-putting to non-whites. The screen DOES suck, but at least it's integrated into the dash well and looks nice. The pre-facelift analog gauge cluster was nicer than the post-facelift digital cluster.

Get a proper flash tune. Preferably on a dyno. Email tuning can also work but just because someone has the tools to flash a car doesnt mean they are a good tuner. A piggyback is the most retard way of doing things. A proper tune will give lots of extra power without touching the boost in alot of cases. In some cases you can run less boost because of timing strategy and still make more power.

on a normal backroad ANY awd with 300+ bhp is going to keep up with anything else except some 100k 2 door. There's a limit on how fast you can corner

Anonymous No.28589986 [Report]

I don't mean some tail of the dragon babby shit, actual big fast mountain roads out west will have long corners with very high minimum corner speeds ("apex" speeds) and the part of the corner where you can do hard acceleration is a lot shorter relative to the full length of the corner, negating the awd advantage.
