Most people prefer the looks of the 240 or 740 but that's probably why there are none left.
Jurbo volvos are great.
Automatic volvos are unfortunate.

900 series was the end product of all of Volvo's RWD development, I say go for it. Later P80 platform is comfy, but it's just not the same as 90s Volvo interior.
Panther body is presumably not going to be as convenient for parts in EU.

Autos suck shit, both zf and aishit boxes
RUST, albeit the 900 series are galvanized so it's not as bad as on old 700 and 200 series.
Electronics are complicated for the sake of being complicated because "durrr derrr germoids made them difficult too" and they can be quite unpredictable too.
At least in every 700 series I've owned, the gauge cluster barely works and if it had ABS, the check light was on all the time no matter what you did.
Even with all new components it'd work for like a week and shit the bed.
