Got this at a recent airshow. Unsure if this image actually looks good or is just out of focus. Looking for some feedback.
>>4422606It's hard to tell exactly. Looks like the 5 on the tail is in focus but at that distance plus the exhaust, your photo is bound to have some haze / atmospherics that would affect sharpness.
Where is the exif information?
went to a protest yesterday.
>>4422606the exhaust is making part of it out of focus. other than that, it could be color graded a little bit.
>>4422603missed u too corgi anon <3
Is there anything in this picture? I don't want to trash it but I don't feel like it is 'right' in the current form. Can't figure out a way to crop or edit it to have any impact.
>>4422622what do you like or dislike about it?
>>4422623I think it's too unfocused, too busy.
>>4422622It's called a snapshit. Very normal, don't worry about it. Either delete it or keep it but either way just move on with your life.

I guess this is where everyone went and they didn't even tell me :( anyway.
Shot this last night trying to test out a 3d printed Bahtinov mask.
>didn't quite fit
>probably the wrong grid ratio for the focal length I was using as well (didn't know that was a thing before)
>way too drunk to drive so had to find something in walking distance
>is a fucking light pole
>somehow forgot everything I used to think i knew about taking photos at night
>didn't bring a phone or torch so couldn't see the buttons or remember how to set self timer or mirror lock-up
Could have turned out worse, at least I left the house with a camera.
>>4422612just noticed that lol. this is gonna be so much fun!
>>4422759>nooo I need to see what camera this picture was taken on so I can decide if it's good or notGood. The only people it hurts are beginners asking why their pictures aren't turning out right and they can always screenshot it if they want to share
>>4422760I just want to know focal length, F number and shutter speed, knowing the type of lens and camera used is also nice
>>4422761I agree but it is the source of a lot of brandfaggotry. I believe they used to not let you post until after you manually remove any location info from the exif ecause the monkeys coding this site obviously couldn't figure out how to automate removal even though they left the name section. They probably disabled exif now because they can't figure out if there's another exploit in there (there isn't but they are retarded) so I doubt we'll be seeing it again any time soon.
>>4422761>>4422762Sorry I sort of rambled on there and missed my own point. It would be good to see shot settings but leave out brand names. That will never happen though.
>>4422761You can always just ask

>>4422883>>4422886>>4422895I can't mass reply to all dog and cat pics posted because of spam filter. I wanted to say nice to them all.
>>4422894Pet pics are simply the best. I keep a wired strobe kit in my house to quickly set up when I get bored and want to snap some pics. Even a single umbrella + strobe can lead to some nice results.
>>4422903I have a speedlight that I want to get a trigger for or another one, as well as a stand and softbox. But I do my best work in natural light since I started off doing exclusively nature and sunrises
>>4422907I use a novatron 1000 and usually just point it straight up at my white ceilings. It lets me shoot around f11-f16 and 100 iso. Perfect for erratic subjects.
It's a good place to start, but the lighting can get a bit boring. Definitely recommend learning strobes a bit. It's really fun and makes producing super sharp images so easy.
Pretty sunset btw. I actually like the saturated colors in that one.
>>4422913there's a semi-cheap strobe I found on marketplace that I've had my eye on. but I also have my eye on a 70-200mm 2.8 lens lol
I usually don't up the saturation but that was so close to looking like a painting that I said what the hell, why not
also, been trying to get the lighting just right for a macro of a cat's eye is damn difficult for a beginner
>>4422919>>4422917Tough choice. Lens is probably more useful for you, but the strobe will make indoor shooting a lot easier.
I would suggest using a window with a translucent curtain in front for strong/soft light. If your camera supports high fps do the macro wiggle and hope you get a couple goods ones lol.
>>4422894Charlie has iris melanosis.
>>4422921the lens is cheaper than the strobe too lol plus I could use a non-macro 2.8 anyways.
good idea, both those were taken using on camera speedlight with manual focus at 1:1 which narrows the aperture to a 5.6 on my lens. I had to take a few shots to get them

Shit photo from my phone. Apparently clear blue skies are something entirely foreign to the Chinese people I've been talking to. That's one thing I always see brought up by them.

1000054012.jpg:
Nothing engaging about this photo-it looks really boring. Thereโs a big black sky with nothing in it, and nothing catches my eye in the composition. The composition is lackluster, and so is the editing; stylistically, itโs unappealing.
1000054712.jpg:
Nothingโs going on. What am I supposed to look at? Debris?
1000054700.jpg:
The framing is, again, not interesting. I also donโt get why you included those random objects hanging from the top. Also, the flour doesnโt stand out. You could have used a small light to make the flour pop, or drawn the lighting in Photoshop with a soft light layer.
1000054593.jpg:
Nothing interesting is going on. I assume the plant is the main subject, but its visual weight is weak, making the composition unbalanced and chaotic. Also, using this long focal length with the heavy blur to make the plant stand out more feels beginner-like.
1000053908.jpg:
The tunnel is cool. At least give a reward at the end-place yourself or a friend at the end of the tunnel. That would have made the composition feel somewhat nice. Also, Iโm not a fan that you again used a lot of black around the frame. Itโs like you canโt commit to the composition.
1000053857.jpg:
This time you actually have an engaging main subject-power lines, so thatโs cool. But everything around it is boring. The shed to the left looks cluttered and boring. The mountains seem like they are just placed wherever; theyโre not guiding the viewer through the composition.
DSC03702-3.jpg:
I guess this is an alright photo. You used high contrast with high clarity, which creates a highly stylistic look. However, the background blur is distracting, and the two dots on the right are also distracting. The photo lacks any kind of story-itโs just โhereโs the animalโs head.โ It doesnโt feel like you made this photo with intention or a specific mood you wanted to convey.

>>4423284yeah the fact that the grandma is handicapped is a bit stupid lol
>>4423353>how do you think i can get noiseless image like thatBecause you could have an image with those same exposure settings with more apparent noise. Those exposure settings don't mean noiseless. ISO 100 doesn't mean no noise.
The reason it looks like ai or heavily denoised isn't because of your exposure settings. In fact, you could even have different exposure settings and still look just as ai like.
>>4423369>ISO 100 doesn't mean no noise.snoy or crop sensor? you be the judge
>>4423314>exposure settings aren't relevantmost intellectual /p/ poster
