I found a fujifilm finefix t400 just laying around.
I put it to charge and it worked flawlessly.

Thats until i ttok it out of charging just to discover that the battery doesnt even charge. It just works on the charger.

Can anyone, please, provide me a trusted website i can grab a battery from?

buy one that seems ok

Look at battery for model number.
Search model number (+ "battery") on eBay or wherever.
Click buy.

I don't know if its battery is still used in current products. If not, be wary of new old-stock OEM batteries.They sometimes go to shit sitting around for years. The Kastar ones you'll probably find work fine; plus they cost a third as much.
