Nowhere

Flickr is unusable
500px is chinese
Instagram is basically a botnet built to train advertising algorithms and 1/3-2/3 of its users are AI
Facebook is pure trash
Reddit is pure trash
Xitter is pure trash
Bluesky is pure trash

The era of democratized attention is over. The internet has been taken over by AI powered influencers and astoturfing accounts, "paid" shills who run off perks and loaner gear to make more "content" (ads) with, and onlyfans whores. Just share with your friends if you can not find the effort in you to beg for fame in the traditional manner, person to person, mano a mano, pleading with the gatekeeper to open it a crack.

I use a GitHub pages site and I'm going to switch from jpegs to jxl, webp, or avif or something so I waste less space. It's convenient but I think I should probably use a cdn or embed flickrs maybe because I assume the way I'm doing things is wrong.

Main one is on Squarespace and have a second small one thru Adobe Portfolio (included with photo sub). If I were restarting I'd just host the main site through Pixieset, which I use for most client delivery.

A HTML-4 website exclusively using hyperlinks and with a visit counter at the bottom

Build your own site on site.google.com.
Its free and if you are not faggot, you can make it look very good and professional. Then just buy your own domain from squarespace - cost is around 20$ a year

Based. Same here.

Also based. What ken lacks in CSS, he makes up in saturation.

I made A static html website..

I put low resolution of the picture thumbnail to make it load faster, so when you click,
the low resolution get replace by the high resolution..

Is there a generator for that? Can you share the code? I'd love to set up something like that, but I just haven't got the nerve to deal with computers anymore. Learning by looking things up on the web has become unsufferable...

I just copy all 4117 of my best jpgs into one long word document and email it to people. I never hear back from people in my email anymore, maybe I should try another approach.

>I should probably use a cdn
Yes, you should throw Cloudflare or Cloudfront in front of it for free.99 a month unless you get a ton of traffic.
Anonymous No.4469113 [Report] >>4469145
Should I just get Flickr and be done with it?
Anonymous No.4469143 [Report]
>>4466889
Nah, it just takes time to properly review 4117 pictures, evaluate every single one of them thoroughly and maybe even write some notes.
You simply need to wait a bit longer for a wave of replies to roll over you

Depends on why you want to share your images. For business? Probably. For the joy of shooting? Fuck no.

I have a web page hosted on my own server at home, where I run an anti-AI service to block scrapers.

Right now Cargo but I'm not a huge fan. It's ok. I want to rebuild it with a static site generator but I haven't had the time.
Anonymous No.4474648 [Report]
If you are booking paid work you need Instagram, if you are using Instagram and not booking work you are the dictionary definition of brain dead.

For all other purposes Flickr does the job.

If you have massive narcissism you will need to create your own website but that’s a you problem.

Github pages for a static site. Images uploaded to Cloudflare Images. I just have a simple HTML site with image urls embedded.
