took a jumpship cruise a few months ago, went planetside in adaven to visit sal sagev. gonna dump some images. you may need to adjust your VCI since there were two stars, not to mention the radiation. pretty standard 3 "day" excursion, I won't bore you with too many things you've seen before hopefully.

did get to see this guy in the pre-morning light. the light from the primary star is always visible, so you really tell time from the M-dwarf companion.

went to a botanical garden in town. I guess permanent light and heat works for some plants, freaky stuff. being a shell of its former self I would have assumed a lot of stuff like this to be gone, but I guess when the mines are dried up what else do you have? got me to spend some cash, anyway.

the monitors are apparently in place from some agreement with the locality and GMG to make sure what little mining is still ongoing in the area doesn't cause structural damage.

turns out despite being "all-terrain," the tour people only use the hovs on roads and specific trails. at least we got some more nice views on the ride back (no to mention some cool air)

back in town, had a bit of time to kill before launch. they have some of these fliers to take miners to and from more remote sites where a hov would take too long.

anyway, that was my time on the surface. by the time the secondary was below the horizon I was back in my cabin on the jumpship, waiting for the next gate. would recommend if you have a thing for it being ungodly hot or cacti. hope you netizens enjoyed a taste of the dead edge of space.

ty, had the vague idea a month before my trip and decided that I'd go for it. Not sure I could expand the concept too much beyond a thread (maybe a page on my website that I don't have?) or how I'd do a real life show with it but that'd be cool too.
Anonymous No.4465845 >>4465848
This idea is interesting but some of your photos are too repetitive. You need to reduce the amount of images.
Anonymous No.4465846 >>4465847
Also you should creature your own creature like William Mortensen rather than just using wildlife. Without creatures, found objects and mutations it is just boring landscape.

*you should create
Anonymous No.4465848 >>4465862

You need to reduce the amount of images and create more variety. Novelty of the film is not enough, you need novelty of subject too(which you already to some extent you do need more variety). Take inspo from your favorite scifi novels, painting etc.

This shit is cool OP

This sort of thing has been done before. See Inka & Niclas' photobook "The Belt of Venus and the Shadow of the Earth"

OP is more gritty than these photographers and he needs to fully embrace it. I think Inka & Niclas are still stuck in documentary photography type composition and it is not appropriate technique for what they were trying to achieve. I think OP's style is right for this kinda thing but he needs to do a lot of improvements.
