There is nothing wrong with trying to learn photography with your phone, you can practice composition with it easily.

But everything else? controls, quality? even a digishit from 2003 will btfo, and not even mention the IA bullshit being pushed on phones.

And also, the most important for me. Printing.

Yeah, your phone photos will probably would look okaish on a phone screen, but as soon as you go bigger or try to print them, they will come apart.

Again resolution and color are just not there

The problem with learning on your phone isn't the quality. Sure most phones have that crazy denoising shit that makes the images look murky and weird, but there's a bigger issue. You can only really learn composition on your phone, you can't learn the exposure triangle. Pretty much every phone out there lacks any manual exposure modes, so you don't learn how aperture, shutter speed and ISO affect your photos, which is crucial.

I'm learning how to use Adobe programs, absolutely all of them. I don't even have a camera, but I think I get better results when I transfer them to the computer, even if they're taken with a phone.
