>Same as M11
>Only difference is EV1 has an EVF(same with Q3, SL3) instead of Optical Range Finder

No implicit photographic integrity, it will be a favorite of the usual cavefags who don't care about seeing the actual scene they're supposed to be capturing.

Ah yes, the ever-present implicit admission of bad ergonomic design.

Be a real photographer so you don’t need a bazooka lens and an on camera flash.

Helmut Newton, Ansel Adams, both used primes

90% of adams’ work was with the typical 35/85 pair

Lewis Baltz used a leica and a 50mm almost exclusively but all you care about are the nepojews who have moved on from living accomplishment free in the art world to living rent free in your head
Anonymous No.4477260 [Report] >>4477294
why do we always get into these arguments when leica drops a new body as if they haven't been doing this for their entire history as a company

its just a camera for certain people who take pictures. it isn't the be all camera and they never said it was.

just say either "its too expensive" or "it doesnt do what i need it to do" or both and move on.

just sold my m11 but keeping my m10r and will be picking this up here shortly when available.

None of those are 28mm and neither photographer is known for taking pics of strangers' backs, hobos and trash cans on the street.

Typical consoomer. Enjoy the lack of implicit photographic integrity I guess.

I think it's amazing and the first modern Leica to grab my attention.

For all its criticisms, Leica still values portability and it reflects in their products. I can't think of a smaller, lighter camera that can put out SOOC quality like the M11.

>>4477237
You should post some comparison images between the a7c and the M11.

Could've been cool but is it true the refresh rate is only 60fps?
I don't see why I'd get this over an SL3 if I wanted Leica with EVF
M10/M11 have had EVF attachments, that are arguably better since they can tilt too, but hardly anyone uses them, I sure don't use mine often
At the very least they could've stepped up their MF tech to meet what Nikon did years ago

There is literally no point to this camera, you buy M-series because you wanna look through glass but have a mirrorless (so, digital rangefinders)

The one good thing about m-mount with evf is that all those third parties where there are slight differences in flange distance like for instance the konica hexar lenses will now be perfectly usable.
Anonymous No.4477435 [Report] >>4477732
It should have had L mount.
>L mount: you can use M with adaptor
>M mount: only usable with M

One thing one can hope is that Leica making Q with L mount with IBIS.
Anonymous No.4477732 [Report]
>>4477435
maybe they wanted m native system because it's a Leica m and they like to sell m lenses to the m person who had an L before
