Is porn photography still a viable career in 2025?

That's not porn, that's just artistic nudes. I'm talking about actual porn for people to jack off to.

If you want people to jack off, you need to do videography. Porn photography was hip last century.

Last century was not long ago and people from back then are still alive, that's why even hip fetish sites like Vixen/Blacked still go all the way into making photoshoots in their sessions, which is the source from most of their memes too.

I meant either one. Videography and photography are more or less interchangeable careers.

No, not really, the skills are widely interchangeable but the applications and contracts are very different

I find videography to be much more complicated than photography. And you must be able to do both if you want to be able to get a viable income.

NOpe. I wanted to work in it in the 90s, and actually got to work a few shoots in the 00s, but in the OF era all the $ has been rerouted to about 4 companies and the entire industry is otherwise nonexistant. Just another industry Silicon Valley sucked dry and left for dead.
