>muh micro four turds

Just own both and use whatever you prefer for the situation?
Or could it be that 90% of you are /p/oorfags?

useless sensor category that's neither here no there

I'm a one body, four lens guy. I don't like picking.
- f/4 zoom for most stuff
- ~100mm macro for macro and portraits
- 100-400 for creatures
- fifty nifty for people, group portraits, inside, etc
I don't need a muh bokeh 85mm, the macro gets plenty of bokeh. I don't need a 2.8 zoom, I have the 50mm. I don't need a longer tele, super zoomed in creatures aren't that appealing looking to me. I don't need 35mm for indoors, I like 50mm.
Another body complicates shit. The only other bodies I'd get would be fixed lenses.

Now compare these 2 to my Nikon D2x.

Just use a compact ff like an a7c or a cheap aps-c instead of being a gearfag

I had a d2x. I don’t know what The FUCK that camera was doing but I’ll be damned, that beast took the absolute finest images I’ve ever shot. It’s crazy, I look through those years in Lightroom and just fucking marvel at the color work, hundreds of images, with California sunsets in the backgrounds, and just perfect gradients, no probs, no banding throughout, it’s crazy. Every so often I look on eBay and I think I should just go back to a d2x, my 14mm aspherical prime & 60mm micro, an F5 to go with it, and be done with all my gearfaggot tree.

Same. Very similar loadout and realistically my 16-35 f/4 is currently getting the most love.
Even as I have recently bought a film camera to Dev at home with, THANKYOU EF MOUNT for allowing me to use the same lenses. Fantastic. I get to have my second body but need no further lens setups; I can do the same type of shooting with my SLR as my main DSLR.

I can't imagine buying into and maintaining two or more mount systems.

Based and not "into cameras" pilled

Just buy something ok that’s not so shit that you under budgeted, that you will use all the time, instead of minmaxing the perfect camera for every photo

>Your obsessive camera shopping to buy the perfect camera for every photo is stupid. You only need one camera that’s good enough but not too shit.
>Uh no that is the real gearfag take because the uh grams to image quality to photo importance to drip ratio is very important ok

stronger color filters

modern cameras sacrificed color separation for more light gathering

older cameras hat stronger color filters

modern cameras sacrificed color separation for better light gathering/low light performance

there is a tiny, fuckoff expensive niche market for strong CFA sensors still:

Worse ergonomics than Oly MFT cameras.

If you want the full frame look then go big or go home. You want something that's comfortable to hold for a whole day.

There's always your iPhone with a RAW camera app if you want a small pocketable camera.

I love my D2x, and I won't part with it even after purchasing a D3x.
