im very confident that whatever we are calling Palantir today has existed for decades. they're only just now introducing civilizans to the existence of A.I. but the intelligence agencies developed it many decades ago for their growing surveillance system.
its always been in the background, in our operating systems, the internet, the various platforms and services we use, gmail and so on. the AI has always been int he background profiling EVERYONE. they have been making models for every individual. there is some sort of copy of me, you, everyone who has used the internet. their activity and input trains the AI.
and you better believe the AI is reading this conversation right here... i remember explaining this stuff about AI some 10 or 15 years ago. and at that time we had been told it had been around for many years before that.
i think when they said "release the kraken" or whatever it was called, they were talking about this Palantir type A.I... like now its set free and official.
im not really THAT bothered by it, not to be that guy talking about not having stuff to hide or not being ashamed or wahtever.. but what worries me is that this tech will not be used to weed out horrible people. id be all for it if it was used to just do a big clean sweep of humanity as to filter out all the shitheads. im so sick of criminals and bad people floating around free and unpunished. they need to be stopped and punished.
but yeah how far off? we are already there, its just not offical or out in the open and finalized. they need to phase out old systems to replace them with the new one. so, the plan for digital currency and AI management of everything has been int he works for decades. its just not something they could transition to over night. people needed to be acclimated and eased into that system like boiling frogs.
the vast majority of people, even conspiracy theorists, have accepted the tech.
