It's not a good thing but I've learned not to rush to judgement because of my own situation. I was a power builder (power lifted and bodylifted) and got super swole. 19 inch biceps, could deadlift 10x10 225 etc.

Lost my mom and dad to a drunk driver and started having issues at work then got depressed. Lost my will to live and just started drinking booze and eating a lot. Got over 300lbs and it took church/God to give me the snap back to reality I needed.

I think for people who're alcoholics, super obese or whatever, it is a form of mental illness. Not one your born into or can't escape from, but it is pure lunacy when people KNOW they're hurting themselves but can't stop doing it.
