>>508243541No countries have rights they can't physically enforce. If other countries don't want them doing something they may use any means at their disposal to coerce them.
Iran can only do things others don't want them to if they can deter or resist the coercion.
Iran made the mistake of seeming more dangerous to Israel than the coercion that could be brought to bear while being weaker than them.
I'm sure China and Russia didn't want this to happen, but they aren't about to attack Israel. This would make them seem a threat to the whole world.
If the US had decided to attack Iran, the US would seem like a threat to the whole world.
But everyone can understand why Israel attacked Iran even if they hate Israel they don't feel threatened by Israel. What they did like it or not is understandable.
And now that Iran has lost. The US could just bunker bust their nukes, and nobody is going to stop them. We never wanted Iran to have nukes. And the world just saw the Air Defense systems used by Russia, and China be pwned by Israel. Neither of them are feeling like starting stuff up right now.
Also even if the US does not help the Israelis seem determined to do it anyway. It's just a matter of whether it's easy or hard. Why waste power trying to stop the US when it's going to happen anyway?
