No, my wife is actually incredibly kind and it's why I'm with her. I don't have the energy to go into a lot of detail so the general gist of it is this: Yes we were in an open relationship, no that doesn't mean you can't cheat on someone when you're in an open relationship. If you are having sex regularly with someone and never mention it until they get you pregnant, that is definitely a betrayal of trust even if you've both agreed that she can have as many partners as she feels she needs to be comfortable.

You never educated people. Every time someone makes a comment you don't like you can't let it go and spend 20-30 minutes lecturing them. That in turn makes people around you go "Do i really want to spend a car ride after a hard days work getting into a 30 minute ontological debate about racism?" or "Dude, this is a movie, fucking relax. I don't want to miss an important scene because you keep droning in my ear about liberal values."

Debates require a time and place. A set time that both people agree on and prep for to actually get to the truth of the matter. Imagine if I made a humorous joke and a girl slaps my shoulder aghast at the raciness of it. She does it several times ive known her. Now she goes around saying she's a boss bitch because she wins fights against me. That is the intellectual version of what this guy does.

He has so limited ability of social awareness. Such an inability to understand the thoughts and motivations and limitations of other people he cannot understand why he is wrong.
