What happened with leftoids and tech????
Genuine question. They use to be the SCIENCE! types. They use to be the people you'd see fully trusting the idea of testing and finding new results.
Now they are so complacent or want to go backwards just to not hurt feelings. They lost all interest in exploring. Even their tech interests show it. Instead of flying cars, teleportation, standards of land transport, we are focused on toys, devices, gizmos, and data balk and collecting or management.

All civilizations become either spacefaring or extinct.

You want to wake up in the morning and think the future is going to be great - and thatโ€™s what being a spacefaring civilization is all about. Itโ€™s about believing in the future and thinking that the future will be better than the past. And I canโ€™t think of anything more exciting than going out there and being among the stars.

Starship will never work. There is no fucking way that thing is ever landing on an uneven surface on a planet or the moon. The thing is too big, doesn't have the structural integrity, heat shielding is shittier than the shuttle and it's just too fucking big and unwieldy.
It's best to use it just a super heavy cargo lifter to then construct a huge spaceship in space itself.
Either way, China is most likely making it to the moon and mars first.

The main issue with that is getting down again. Some tanks bolted to some girders might work in space but it's not reaching the surface. You would then need some sort of planetary shuttle that is itself capable of orbit to get back. That sort of space plane doesn't exist.

Is it possible to make space suits more compact and form-fitting? I would invest in research and design into making Mars life work around a hostile atmosphere rather than terraforming, at least pragmatically at first.
Ideally, putting on a space suit would be as significant and troublesome as putting on a winter coat. Then you can get into your car and drive wherever you need to go.
With technology aimed at making no-oxygen Mars atmosphere life manageable, we could have humans comfortably living there for many years as we work on terraforming.

Itโ€™s actually far far more realistic to terraform the earth, where we already live and have evolved to survive for 5,000,000,000 years than to terraform another planet that is currently impossible to survive on and devoid of all means of facilitating human life.
Itโ€™s like saying you need to build a new car from scratch because your own car has a dent in the bumper and you donโ€™t think you can fix it. Nigger if you can build an entire car then fixing the one you have is 100,000 x easier and more efficient

Yeah I'm team terraform as well. Why I spend so much time writing comments to Shaun Overton's Dustups (terraforming project in west texas) on Youtube about doing it wrong lmao.
Honestly with genetic engineering and maybe a little less care about "invasives" (if Invasives do the fucking job natives can't, then invasives are worth it) we could probably easily terraform the entire Western US, Central Australia and Gobi.
I think Acacias and Desert Oaks are key to terraforming, since they can grow in sandy deserts and turn sand into fertilizer for other plants.

>or the ocean floor first
Habs are subject to hundreds to thousands of atmospheres of pressure differential at the sea floor, while also having to deal with the high specific heat capacity of the near 0c water surrounding you. Space on the other hand is 1atm difference max with far less of a temperature control issue than you run into in the ocean. It may not seem like it initially as a layman but if you look into the engineering challenges, fucking around in space or even on another planet/moon's surface for extended periods of time is quite a bit easier than doing the same at extreme depths.

Antarctica presents significant issues as well. You should do some looking into how infrastructure has to be built and people have to maintain it deep in the Antarctic and at extreme depth. It's a much more significant challenge than you think.

Weโ€™d need to solve the nigger question first and then we could tear down all the boomer suburbs that went up as people fled the cities and paved the way for reforestation. This sort of people are rare today and to colonize the space you must have a compatible mindset, but since most of them think about pee pee drinking partying having sex or researching retarded bullshit like transgender mice this is why humanity wont go anywhere in space too soon. Methane is valuable hydrogen, as is the sulfuric acid (which is actually trace and mostly confined to the upper atmosphere)
We can make Venus 1bar of 79% nitrogen and 21% oxygen in a very short time by simply lowering the temperature of the planet with a sunshade to -110F, causing the CO2 to freeze solid as miles thick ice caps of dry ice, and the nitrogen could be precipitated out of the atmosphere as NO2 and 2NO4.

It is cruel irony that our gravity stops us from constructing space elevator, a thing doable on Mars. But at the same time high earth gravity protected our atmosphere while Mars became barren before life emerged.

You donโ€™t jump from planetary to interstellar distances. As for near future asteroid mining and orbital power generation is becoming viable question. Once we have functional orbital infrastructure, construction bigger and bigger ships becomes a matter of time and scale. Then it is possible to move from planetary residence to space habitats. That should be more or less possible with our present understanding, after we put the impossibly high costs aside.

And? That's all the more reason to run a robotic test mission first, and time-scales of decades aren't unusual for space missions to begin with. How long do you think a mission to another solar system would take?
Even in that case they'd first send a robotic mission - but not one that returns, rather one that prepares for the manned mission.
It seems to be Elons idea to send an entire fleeet of Starships to Mars, leaving some there, and there won't be a test at this scale, but nobody is going to get into that Starship to Mars if it hasn't already proven its capability to go there, land and come back, because that's basically suicide otherwise.
>it may still be suicide anyway
A bigger issue is the launch windows, not time travel takes under ideal circumstances. You can only cut this journeey down to 6-9 months once every couple years. Outside these windows it will take far longer, like up to 2 years to even get there.
With the moon a rescue mission would be viable, if prepared, but on Mars it's not really feasible, which is why they'll bring along a spare Starship or two.

Possibly but you'll need to crack air scrubber miniaturization as well as soft robotics to ensure consistent sealing and pressure regulation.
Basically there's fibers that contract or expand when a charge is applied.
You'll want to layer these with various heat/radiation/moisture retaining ones as well as a mesh for regulating temperature.

Already has bro. Musk and his rush for Mars, orbital stations, and lunar landers is a last throw of the dice to get a human presence off-world while we still have the skill and industry to do so.

A world that looks like Brazil or Pakistan might be nice for child-fuckers and other such degenerates but the experiment in civilization will be over.

Aren't you in space already? You're just too lazy to leave the planet, which however is understandable given the difficulties presented by that.
>okay let's put 1000 tons of rocket fuel under our ass to fly around the planet instead of sitting on it
There's no tangible difference between spaces, just higher or lower pressures, temperatures, radiation and a possible absence of solid stuff to sit on; but the space is the same.

>Gene therapy
This is true period, even on earth. Its not because of the global warming meme or anything like that, its a combination of things. The genetic deterioration we've experienced after thousands of of years of domestication, the subversion of DNA's role with language as our primary method for storing information from generation to generation. As well as of course certain self destructive ideological cancers eating us alive from within and without. We're not making it through this without sliding back to the starting line unless we start making better humans capable of passing their enhancements onto their children, which they must be compelled to have a lot of and aggressively protect.

I guess mars is to small to have plate techtonics so its crust isn't continuously recycling like earth's is. So any change is pretty permanent, and there is no continental drift or anything like that. The article I read said it used to have flowing water and flowing lava at the same time. Apparently the 4 volcanos caused the planet to be so lopsided the entire crust shifted and helped change the climate.

Olympus Mons sits on the same volcanic โ€œbulgeโ€ as the three volcanoes of Tharsis Montes โ€” Ascraeus Mons, Pavonis Mons, and Arsia Mons.

And when four mega volcanoes formed so close together it proved to be more weight than Marsโ€™ surface could bear. The volcanoes made the planet tip over a bit. Some 3 billion years ago, Marsโ€™ outer layers slipped under their weight. The crust and mantle traveled about 20ยฐ, moving from the polar regions toward the equator. It was enough to reroute rivers and change the planetโ€™s climate.

pay them with what? and how far does loyalty go for raw money in a post-civilisational scenario? because that's where we are headed.

that's only as long as social order, law enforcement, governemental legalism, central banks/currency, loans and technology itself still lasts. it won't. sure he may have a handful of billion in material assets and a lot of tech, but if the social contract evaporates, all bets are off the table. the very notion of 'spending money every day until you die' assumes it's just cash lying around, which it is not.

the security guards of these tech billionaires will be the first to eat them and pledge loyalty to a local warlord that earns loyalty in a way that doesn't rely on raw sociopathic capitalism. like zuckerburg in his bunker. it will devolve into total lawless chaos, mightiest survives etc, but on a long enough timescale, ultimately it will coalesce into a post-collapse warrior religious cult based on some new ethics antithetical to judaeo-christian society when nagging doens't work anymore, and that's when we will finally be free from the kike and the feminist.

as soon as all of that collapses, a lot of billionaires are just going to off themselves, those that don't will fail to command respect and be eaten by their 'muscle'.

Are you implying that humans are going to build generational ships to get to far away planets?

Meaning that entire human generations are going to be born and die inside of a tin can floating through space where they will never get to see earth, or even the planet they are heading to? Is this what you believe will eventually happen?

Because I can tell you right now that if a generational ship ever got to another planet. Every single person on the ship will be dead. And I don't mean from radiation.

no white people are derived from the south asian subcontinent. white people are of the western world, of european tradition and ancestry (aka christendom). white people explored, colonized and uplifted the world's straggling diversity into a modern age. meanwhile pajeets waited centuries for the next superior outsiders to give them purpose and identity.

"aryans" were an ancient example of white people, and they no longer exist in that form. there is no "indo-european" anything worth mentioning. the modern pajeet is a degraded copy of a copy of an ancient aryan's slave, long abandoned to his own primitive devices. a more recent example of abandoned pajeet slaves, this time far from home, are the gypsies in europe.

it would seem that the distasteful business of slavery may have evolved to meet the needs of the slaves themselves. what if specific cultures of humanity are natural and organic slaves, and to deprive them of their god-given role in life can only result in corruptions? what if freedom is only a mind-bending poison to these poor souls, and separates them from instinctive happiness? then what has been done to so many? what cruelty has this been, raising them up to stand as peers and rivals to anyone?

the majority of pajeets on /pol/ try to hide the fact that they're pajeets. in addition to "leaving that part out" they will proactively, persistently misrepresent their true form. pajeets are all about assuming other people's roles, from today's outsourcing and replacement migration all the way back to thuggee bandits lying to travelers about who they were. pajeets are devoid of their own identity, making them the ideal globalized goyim. they don't want a home where they belong. all that means to them is "compete in squalor." much better to go somewhere nicer, built by other people, and do their jobs for less pay and live slum-barracks life in their suburbs. pajeets don't want to be home. they also don't want to be pajeets. jews know exactly how to play their insecurities and dopey ambitions like the innocent rube fresh off the bus from the cornfield. this is their new golem to replace the ones that don't love them anymore

Leaf, you are in Canada. The ability of humans to adapt to austere conditions, without realizing they have done so, is astounding.

A Oโ€™Neill habitat would basically be living on a temperate island. Some people would call that nice.

dumbfuck copypasta

I had a friend in primary school from Pakistan named Banaras with platinum blond hair and green eyes whose family had been there for generations. Another one named Zubair with green eyes and pale skin indistinguishable from an anglo other than his accent and dress.

That being said 70% of muslims in the UK are mirpuri subhumans.

>WHAT IS A PAJEET?
the best way to define pajeet is
>descended from south asian subcontinental ancestry.

political distinctions on maps or signified by flags are false and irrelevant. everything south of the himalayas that isn't gooky-chinky is pajeet. pakistan, india, bangladesh, sri lanka are all pajeet territory. enough of nepal is jeeted that they may as well qualify too.

all of these pajeets could stay where they belong and call themselves what they like, and nobody would disagree because nobody cares. however, because they profusely shit up the internet, and they mass migrate to shit up everyone else's homelands, they're all pajeets now. all counted together as the same thing, on the same visiting team as far as the human world is concerned.

hindu, muslim, sikh, atheist, etc; male, female, gendersexual, old, young, etc; deformed, odorless, fair & lovely, dark & deep, everything in between, etc... forget all of it. none of that proud heritage matters once they exit designated land to race with the globalist rats. now their entire overcrowded neighborhood at the bottom of asia is known as one source of one type of trespasser: the pajeet.

>ONLY A PAJEET DISPUTES THIS DEFINITION

Earth is absolutely perfect place for mankind, almost like it was created specifically for mankind.

Pretending we could send humans to Mars is hilarious, they've never even been to the moon. Even if the moon landings weren't fake, they haven't been back in 50 years? fuck off.
