I would be making 45K a year.
That is about 3500 a month. The most I could help my parents with (living on my own) would be 250$ each, each month. Just enough for them to eat, after rent/utilities took out all of their retirement money.
After graduating, in the best of scenarios I would have started making 150k A year. That would leave me with 8200 a month.
I would have had no debt coming out.
But I still could not afford a house on that salary.
Minimum 350K a year. Realistically… my best chance to buy a house here would be to marry someone who makes as much as I do…
I’m no fucking economist….
And all I have are my personal experiences.
But I don’t see how taxing and more government spending is going to get us out of this hole.
like I said… lead the way… just don’t get in the way of immigration law and enforcement.
