Does it MATTER what people think, positive or not? I speak as someone who mildly enjoyed the movie. What does it really matter if this is successful or praised?
>It's a movie and not a show, so I don't need to worry about sales of word of mouth affecting it getting new episodes.
>It tells a pretty simple and contained story, so I'm not invested in wanting a sequel to this.
>Genndy's career isn't in danger because he's still making Season 3 of Primal and another show on Adult Swim after this.
I'm not expecting everyone to enjoy the movie (and I doubt Genndy did either considering the content matter), but I think that's fine because there's not really anything on the line with this movie succeeding commercially or critically.
