Anybody think about if the prophesy has some rules to it? I initially assumed that the prophesy only applied to events and people in the Dark World. Ralsei has anxieties about Darkners not being able to grow or change, and he might be correct about that seeing as they seem to reflect the creator of the Dark World (like how Queen is a stand-in for Toriel and Carol or Tenna reflects Kris's anxieties over the divorce)
Ralsei also has anxieties about Darkners not being allowed to have hobbies or hopes or dreams but most of the Darkners we meet have all those things
Ralsei also might not really be a Darkner, an object turned into a quirky little character, at all and none of those issues should apply to him if that is the case

I have a theory that Ralsei, being a darkner, has a flawed understanding of the prophecy born from his creator. Since dark worlds reflect the creator, surely this also means their view of the prophecy. Ralsei exists in a place where the titan's eye symbology is prevalent, and we don't see it again until Kris opens the dark world in chapter 3.
My second theory is that there are TWO distinct prophecies and Ralsei only knows one. Hence why he knows nothing about Noelle, who is clearly "the girl" in a different part of the prophecy. This might be why he doesn't know how to defeat the titan, even though the prophecy is ridiculously accurate to the point of specifying what Lancer does, and our victory clearly has to come to be.
My third theory is the "Angel's Heaven" is the dark world itself because it's where we have (near) total control. Kris can't resist us as much in the dark worlds, and the town is named after us, and closing off the dark world is the end of our adventure.

The one thing that made me sad about weird route is it doesn't get "weird" again after ch2 so far. I'm specifically referring to how Spamton steals the castle, fucks with everything, and the castle gets flood with Pipis. And the palace music changing. That went a lot way to the feeling of unease and "you broke something".
I get that 3/4 weren't written in a way that was very conducive to doing that; 4 didn't even have a fountain ruler. But it makes the weird route feel less substantial for sure. I get now that it revolves around Noelle, but it sorta sucks how the lived process of weird route is largely skipping a whole chapter and a half of text until you get to Noelle, and then skipping another chapter and a half of text until you get to her house.
Contrast that with Genocide Route. The changed narrator dialog and people fleeing town made the process of doing it pretty engaging, despite the grinding aspect. I think weird route will end up being seen as a "weak point" of Deltarune the finished project. A cool idea that the devs couldn't find the way or time to get it to fit well.

I do still wish Boney was more useful though, my memory of the order of events is iffy these days but I wish he somehow learned Salsa's extra abilities at some point, that way he'd at least have something other than Sniff and Salsa would get to live on in the party without actually needing to fight anymore
