Very good question indeed.... Asgore and Toriel feel Imperium-y in spite of their horns. Maybe Toriel is a Sororitas and Asgore is a disgrace Space Marine (we are taking heavy liberties here ofc) who is forced to live as a Renegade Astartes but doesn't worship Chaos? (Gerson is definitely a Warhammer Fantasy throwback btw)

That's actually perfect, your bed makes a lot of sense as the place where you, the master of the room, are cented and where your dreams are produced. The cookbooks would probably be a much more moden, executive stuffed shirts group looking to buy out the more whimsical and nostalgic Nerdland region. Think the Goonies but with more Donald Duck and Blood Angels.
