An ideal society would forcibly take a certain wealth bracket's money and use it to pad reasonably priced goods. Taxing the rich 1% less is fine, as long as the money isnt being taken from the poor. As long as the middle class recieves slightly less benefit, or pays slightly more, no other tax outcome matters. Any step taken that puts money out of the hands of the financially stable and into the rpoor is a step toward the ultimate goal.
