Feeling frustrated by a situation at the county level clerk in my city. Where we are getting increasingly more taxed without any increase to quality of life.
I actually was kicked out of the clerk office and escorted outside by a police officer because the Karen manager was lying to my face about what could or couldn't be done.
We talk often times about larger government politics, but we rarely talk about our frustration with purely our local community.

So if you guys want to, feel free to vent here and I'll listen to whatever you want to bitch about. I'm feeling very defeated by this entire experience and would like to feel some common ground with any Anon that I can.

local politics of the pol community is it takes 2 minutes to post a reply in the first place. because of how bad the jannies are at dealing with reports, they should enforce the advanced captcha against OPs and stop moving rule breaking OPs and just delete them/blackhole the OP for 4 hour timeout. total trash local politics here on pol anon.

All I asked for was a simple adjustment to my vehicle registration date.
They have done it for me multiple times over the last 8 years.
I don't drive all that often.

I have other cop friends and they have effectively said no one pays for registration anymore, no one pays for insurance, no one pays taxes.
Yet somehow anytime I personally try to not do these things, I somehow get hit with a ticket or a bill or something.
I'm being punished for actually trying to do the right thing man I feel levels of doomer I haven't in decades.
I can't keep paying for all this shit, I went from middle class to effectively poor in like 6 years with all these fucking taxes and fees.
